Within mechanical or shop drawing it’s customary to give three views from the thing which will be built, and of an ordinary good article the three views is going to be sufficient. Strategy

Through the end elevation we mean the look of the article in the right end, exactly at right angles towards the plan and to the leading elevation. Of course ultimately elevation the black outlines would represent the parts which may stand in plain view as seen in the end, and the dotted outlines would represent the concealed or unseen parts within their proper positions. You will notice that this principle will additionally apply to each view. These three views of the object should be sufficient make it possible for one to form a definite idea of the complete construction.
