  • After searching Google for straps, Cool camera straps, or any other keyword, chances that you are at right place to find whatever you want. Shoulder straps come in such a variety of prices, colors, styles, and materials. Fabric camera straps, retro camera straps, Leather camera straps, etc… It can all be a little immense. Competition is vicious in the camera strap industry. Each person with their taste wants his/her camera to look sexy. When buying a camera, all come out of the box with a standard default strap with a big wording such as Canon, Nikon, etc... So this is not cool. Means, when we go out then strap, should look better with our camera. So let’s talk about business, get rid of this poor looking strap which comes with our cameras and look for something a little more stylish.
  • Camera straps are helpful if you want, for instance, to shoot street photography from the hip. As a whole, they do allow you to use your two hands to do something else if you need. But with an increased amount of my time now spent creating cinema graphs and using a tripod for time-lapse, things which we found them to get more in my way rather than being really useful. They always tend to dangle in our way. Think about the best solution is to keep the camera in the bag when not in use, and securely attached to my wrist when to shoot through the use of a leather wrist strap.
  • Things to look out whenbuy camera strap:
  • Look out for sharp edges and AVOID.
  • The imprudent rigidity of the leather will mean (until it softens anyway) impractical use and the strap getting in your way when holding your camera in awkward positions.
  • You should use easy to use straps which are easy to attach and remove as you won't always want to use one.
  • The ergonomics and comfort around the neck. Is there any padding, is it so thin it will cut through your skin after prolonged use?
  • Pros related to straps:
  • Faster lens changes: Sometimes we do change lens dozens of times each day so camera straps help in that way.
  • Security: Keeps the camera safe from the accidental bang. If it gets taps or get pushed, chances are the camera will not drop. In some domain such as markets or crowded streets, it is impossible to avert something from knocking the camera.
  • Hands-Free: There are many things to do while taking pictures that work better with both hands-free like giving your business cards to others, writing emails, handing, etc...
  • Anti-Theft: Someone cannot take away your camera if it’s attached to your neck. Even to prevent slashing some straps have an embedded metal wire.
  • Multiple Cameras: The straps may get jumbled, but at least it makes it easy to shoot with various cameras.
  • Fail-Safe: Shooting downwards from a balcony, you better keep the strap on!
