How to Make Choco Berry Cake with Desserts Corner

This choco berry cake recipe has a chocolate cake centre dripping with chocolate chips and encircled by a blueberry icing that is just stunning. After that, a luscious ganache, more frosting, cocoa powder, and blueberries are added. It is sensual and sugary in just the right proportions, and the flavours will almost leap off your mouth.

In this Chocolate Blueberry Cake, two delicious desserts come together in perfect harmony. The sweetness and the richness complement each other well. You do not even need eggs since it remains soft for days!

How To Make

  • Mix the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, soda, and salt in a large basin.
  • Scoop one cup of milk into a large measuring cup. To this, pour in a spoonful of white vinegar and mix well. Your homemade buttermilk looks like this.
  • Combine the cornstarch with water in a large bowl and stir until the mixture is watery and thin. At first, it will be sticky and thick.
  • In the middle of the dry ingredients, create a well. To the cornstarch and water, stir in the homemade buttermilk, then add the heated water, oil, and vanilla.
  • Whisk until smooth & blended. If it becomes too thick, switch using a spatula.
  • Add the chocolate chips, measuring out 1.5 cups, and carefully incorporate them into the batter.
  • Pour the mixture into two 8-inch cake pans that have been oiled and lined with parchment paper; smooth the cake tops with a butter knife.
  • When done, the cakes should have a small spring when gently touched and should have baked for 47-50 minutes on the middle rack of the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Remove cakes from the oven & allow them to cool within cake pans. When baking the cakes, remove them from the pan and cut them in half horizontally to form 4 thinner layers.
  • If your cakes have domes on top, you may gently slice them off now to form flat tops.

Why We'll Like This Chocolate Berry Cake

  • Dutch process cocoa butter gives this dessert its excellent taste and texture.
  • This dessert is fudgy! It's super moist & each bite is chewy but also fluffy at the same time. But, unfortunately, its surface is the exception!
  • It's loaded with the ideal jam. The most delicate layers of chocolate cake are sandwiched with a luscious mixture of blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries.
  • It's frosted with the best chocolate buttercream- The frosting is amazingly silky. Cocoa powder & melted chocolate are what give this drink its rich, decadent flavour.

Suggestion For Cake Assembly

  • Cut the icing into five portions, each one the same size.
  • Assemble a cake plate or stand and top it with a single cake layer. Add a fifth, or approximately a cup, of frosting to the top of the coating, and smooth it out with an icing spatula.
  • Place another layer of cake on top; continue this same technique. Create a cake with three layers and follow these instructions.
  • When you reach the upper layer of cake, flip it over so the flat side faces up. Cover the top and sides with frosting using an icing spatula. The top and sides should only apply a fifth of the frosting.
  • Keep the cake in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes, uncovered. Working with it will be easier as a result of its stability.

Conclusion

This is a dense, delicious, and decadent chocolate cake filled with a berry jam and covered with dark chocolate butter cream. Fresh berries and a drizzle of dark chocolate ganache are the last touches.
