John Lundstram was the hero for Rangers in the 2-1 win against Dundee on Saturday, scoring the winning goal in the 86th minute of play. This was the first Rangers win in the league this season and maintains a perfect record for manager Michael Beale.

Michael Beale's subs are going to be made by Beale

John Lundstram hit a winner as Rangers secured a 1-0 win over Ross County on Monday night. It was the third win in eight days for Michael Beale's side. And it kept them within striking distance of Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Beale made four changes to his starting XI. Ben Davies and Scott Arfield came into the side, while James Sands and Alfredo Morelos dropped to the bench.

Rangers started well, but failed to make a real impression in spells. The team were dominated by Luton for large parts of the game. They were without their goalkeeper Allan McGregor, who missed the match due to illness.

Laidlaw misses chances to tie it up

Tom Laidlaw missed an opportunity to become the Rangers' record scorer. He was a seven-season NHL player who also played for Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers. Now, he wants to cultivate a positive atmosphere in the club.

In his first game for the club, Laidlaw made several rushes to the goal. However, he was foiled by the goalkeeper.

The Rangers dominated in the first half. They kept Ross County on the back foot for the majority of the game. After the break, they took control and improved their chances of breaking the deadlock.

John Lundstram scored a deflection to put the Rangers ahead. It wasn't the best scoring goal, but it did the trick.

Pep Guardiola says player returned from Qatar out of condition

Pep Guardiola has hit out at a Manchester City player who returned from the World Cup overweight. Kalvin Phillips arrived back at the Etihad Stadium over the weight limit, after training with England in Qatar for a month. He is not currently in the squad for the EFL Cup final against Liverpool.

But it wasn't all bad news for Phillips. Earlier in the summer, he signed a PS45 million deal with Leeds United. Since then he has played 54 minutes of competitive football for the club. However, he has not featured for City since the move.

In a 3-2 win over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden came on for Phillips. Nevertheless, it is unlikely he will feature for City in their game against Leeds on December 28.

John Lundstram's performance against Dundee

Lundstram's first-half strike against Dundee United was crucial to Rangers' victory. He drilled a low left-footed strike past the home side's keeper.

The former Sheffield United midfielder arrived at Ibrox in the summer and has since put in key displays. His performance against Dundee United was especially impressive.

Lundstram has been playing through a pain barrier for the past three weeks. After a scan, he was allowed to play for 90 minutes against Dundee. But he was taken off after the game.

John Lundstram has scored five goals this season. He has also assisted three times. Despite his poor start, he has shown his quality in the last three games.

Nkunku's impressive form on the continent

Nkunku's impressive form on the continent has attracted interest from a host of top European clubs. Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked, while Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit.

PSG would like to bring the 19-year-old back to the French capital. But he will need to decide what his future holds.

The midfielder has enjoyed an impressive season in Germany. He has scored four goals with his head and has also shown great transitional skills. In addition, he has a strong dead-ball technique.

Nkunku has been a regular starter under Jesse Marsch. The 23-year-old has also been a key player under Domenico Tedesco.

William Wilton's time as match secretary and then team manager

As the first manager of Rangers Football Club, William Wilton helped to guide the club through its golden age in the 1890s. The club had played in friendlies and cup competitions before the 1890s, but it was in this period that the team turned professional.

William Wilton managed Rangers from 1899 to 1920, during which time the club won eight league titles. He also won two Scottish Cups, in 1891 and 1899.

When he died in a boating accident in 1920, William Wilton had a total of 553 games under his belt. This was an impressive feat, considering that he only died a year after he first took over the reins of the club.
