With unmanaged hosting then there can be a lot of problems with this especially if you are trying to get a website started up and something goes wrong.  When you have unmanaged hosting then you won’t have any service or support that will help you if anything goes wrong; if you get unmanaged then you won’t have anything there to help you so you as the one that is using the server.

If anything goes wrong then you are the one responsible for taking care of the maintenance of your server and it is going to be difficult if you don’t really know what you are doing to keep up your server.  If you haven’t got any time or patience for this then you won’t want to go for unmanaged because it will be up to you that has to take care of the server fully.
