How God Helps You in Your Life

Among all the religions of the world, Christianity stands the biggest with approximate followers of around 2.1 billion. Christianity is a monotheistic religion, it is wholly based on the life, teachings, and miracles of Jesus of Nazareth.

The followers of this religion are called Christians. Jesus is the focal point of Christianity and everything else revolves around Jesus. The Christians believes Jesus is the son of God who came in the form of man to save the world from sins. Christianity played a major role in the shaping of the western civilization.

I am a proud Christian, I believe that God in the form of Jesus, came to the world to rescue us from the sins the world offers. He even died for me on the cross of Calvary and thus he has paid all the wages of my sins. Knowing Jesus is knowing God. His teaching is simple and very clear. God forgives all the wrongdoers. This is the greatest lesson I can ever learn.

Darkness can never be removed by another darkness, we need light to remove darkness. Likewise, anger, shame, sorrow all these negativity needs to be removed by the light called forgiveness. The holy book of the Christians is the Bible.

It is divided into two parts- Old Testament and New Testament. The whole book consists of 66 books, 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament. The Ten Commandments given in the Old Testament is the most important teaching. It is the commandment of God.  

God has shaped my life in the best possible ways. My continuous attachment to God has helped me become a better person. It is true every person has a conscience and a mind and this has often led to conflict in certain instances. God always reminds me that there is always a

bright side of me and I derive energy from such. God always want me to strive and become the best I can.

He wants me to set an example for the people through my words and deeds. This is called discipleship- making disciple who makes disciple. In every situation he wants me to remember the commandments. The commandments are the focus I should not deviate from. God teach me the power of forgiveness. It is the most powerful source I can ever depend upon.

God teach me to love my neighbour, this has help my social relationship. God teaches me that stealing is bad, murdering is bad, lust is bad and everything has a consequence hard to bear. The love of God is far better than any love one can find on earth. Hatred are turned into love, murderers are moulded to become holy, and love of God is far beyond anything.

It has the power to change you like it has changed me. Prayer is the greatest weapon a Christian possess, it enables me to talk to God. I don’t know when and how God answers but I surely knows he always hear and answer my prayers. I am a better person today because God directs my life and he is good.
