Ketogenic Lunch Menu

My dear friend, or my brother in order to be more precise he is a personal mentor of mine, a co-writer of a few articles, has recently developed a low carbohydrate diet for his busy work environment and I had been wondering if there was a keto lunch menu for a Ketogenic Diet. And it seemed that there must be because most restaurants don't serve the diet at all. I have been eating for a while on a very low carbohydrate diet and I have not had a single ketosis episodes so I was curious about the Ketogenic Lunch.

Well, anyway it turned out that in his work place he had to have his lunch breaks so he started to set up a lunch menu for him and he created some ideas for a Ketogenic Lunch menu for his personal coaching practice. He has also mentioned it to me but I hadn't thought about it much until now. Now we can expect his clients to be Ketotic and give up their morning cheeseburgers.

The key thing to remember about the Ketogenic Diet is to always make a clear cut choice whether to choose a low carb or a low fat low carb meal. You need to be able to eat at least 6 small meals rather than eating 3 large meals. The reason being is that if you overeat you will become to flu.

Ketogenic

I feel that most people on low carb diets find it hard to take small meals, but I bet they would do well to try the Ketogenic Lunch and see how it really works. Also it is advisable to always have something to dip your bread into, or at least some sort of spread to make sure you are not going to nibble away your food while eating it. So it will certainly take away some of the guilt.

You should also put something to eat with your lunch menu. To me this is the most important aspect of a Ketogenic Lunch because if you eat a big meal you will tend to overdo it, and then your body will get so fatigued it will start working even harder than before. So always remember to have something for you to nibble away, and sometimes you can add the dip to this to make sure you are able to take it with you after you eat your meal.

Also you can always make sure you have something to drink to keep you hydrated with a low carb drink but please make sure you have no sugar added in. This will help you feel better and stay a little bit more hydrated and I am sure if you know how to handle the shakes, you will love them too.

You can also have some sort of low carb snack like a fruit bar or a piece of cheese for example and there is certainly no shortage of these out there. This means you can add these things to your Ketogenic Lunch menu and you will enjoy them. The key thing to remember is to avoid the fatty junk foods because you may lose the taste for them, which is also a very important aspect of a Ketogenic Diet.

The main thing to remember is that you are not starving because you don't need the fat, you just need to cut down the carbs. So be realistic about the amount of Carbohydrates you should take in every day and then adjust your diet accordingly
