Drone Photography for Real Estate: What You Need to KnowPosted by Amos Fred on March 2nd, 2020 Drones make it easier for real estate marketing companies to provide exterior and interior images of a property, the FitSmallBusiness notes. The photos allow prospective homebuyers to Safety Considerations Trained pilot drones must operate the drones. Look for a certificate to make sure you hire a photographer with the right qualifications. Ask about local regulations, Expert Photography suggests. If the photographer doesn’t seem to know anything about, though, that’s a red flag. It may be better for you to look in another direction for professional photography services. Understands Your Goals When you hire a firm that offers drone photography, make sure the company or photographer in charge understands the goals of your campaigns. A photographer who knows what you want to achieve with your marketing and promotions will know how to capture images that support those goals. By choosing a firm that seeks out to understand your needs as a client, you’ll get better results. Provides Proper Context Not all photographers are on the same caliber or league, though. Some are better than others. One way to find that out is through the photos. Take a look at the sample portfolio of the firm. Does it provide photos of the surrounding areas? If the portfolio only contains snaps of the area and nothing of how these areas relate to the property, that’s a sign. Experienced photographers know enough to use those shots to show the areas around the property and how they relate to the house. Essentially, the photos should tell prospective buyers more about the areas, and how they relate to the property they’re checking out instead of shots of these areas with little to no signs of how close they are to the property or which side of the property they’re at. Knows the Mission When you pick a drone photography service, find one that knows and understands the mission: that is, to sell the property. A photographer that understands that will know what shots to get, how to capture the property to its best advantage and determine which images will help seal the deal. That means the photos need to do more than just make the property look pretty or impressive. Instead, they need to look right for every client who sees the photos. They need to create the right impression until clients can’t wait to walk through the doors. Finding Help Make sure you check out the credentials of the photography firm. How long has it been around? Does it have experienced pros on staff? Does it specialize in real estate drone photography, or does it offer a diverse range of services? Is it trustworthy and reliable? Like it?
