Are you looking for a way to get that wrinkle-free look for your bed? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Today we’re going to help you achieve that dream of making your bed wrinkle-free, just like a hotel room bed.

We have five tips to help you make your bed to perfection. These tips will require some effort on your part. But it results in a wrinkle-free bed and a comfortable sleep. So, take our advice and don’t skip these steps!

Let’s begin!

1. Buy Cotton Blend Sheets

A 100% cotton bedsheet will wrinkle because it’s a natural fabric, and therefore, it creases easily. A bed cover made from cotton or linen feels lovely on the skin. However, wrinkled sheets aren’t pleasant to sleep on either. The alternative is to buy cotton blend bedsheets that won’t wrinkle as much. Check the bedsheet packaging or the product description online to see what fabric or material they are made from before you purchase your bed linen.

2. Iron Your Bedsheet!

Now for the hard work - this is the step that requires a little patience and a love for ironing! Machine washing and drying a bedsheet will cause it to wrinkle heavily. Therefore, the best way to get rid of these creases is to iron them out. After they are dry, iron the pillow covers, the duvet, and the bedsheet to get rid of any wrinkles. Fold your sheets and then iron them to make the process quicker.

Store your ironed and folded bedsheets in your bed linen closet. But, what about the fold lines, you ask? That’s our next tip!

3. Remove Fold Lines

When you make your bed with the pre-ironed and folded sheets, keep your iron plugged in and heating during the process. After you spread the bedsheet on the bed, remove the fold lines by unplugging your heated iron and smoothing out the wrinkles on the mattress itself. Once you’ve got the fold lines out, plug the iron back to heat again. Repeat this process for the pillow covers and the duvet cover. Once you’ve entirely made your bed and ironed out the fold lines, you can look forward to a wrinkle-free finish and a night of comfortable sleep!

Warning: Don’t make the iron too hot. Plus, iron quickly over the fold lines so that you don’t damage or burn your mattress!

4. Fabric Softener And Air Drying

Always read the care label on your bedsheet for the correct washing/drying settings and instructions. However, adding a fabric softener that is safe for your bedsheet will reduce the number of wrinkles when you take your bedsheet out from the washing machine. The fibers in the material get softer due to the fabric softener, which reduces the chances of wrinkles.

Additionally, removing the bedsheet from the washing machine immediately after the wash cycle is over, and hanging them to dry will reduce the wrinkles as well. Once you hang the bedsheet, pillow covers, and the duvet to dry, smooth them out with your hands to remove as many creases as possible. Allow them to air dry in a spacious area to decrease further wrinkles that may be caused by over-crowding the drying line.

5. Damp Bedsheet Technique

Another nifty way to get a reduces creases on the bedsheet is to make your bed when the bed linen is slightly damp. Smooth out any wrinkles with your hands as you make your bed with the wet bedsheet. Then allow the bedsheet and pillow covers to dry under the fan. While this technique isn’t full-proof, it does help to reduce the number of creases. However, it won’t leave you with a wrinkle-free bed!

Those were our five tips to get rid of creases; we hope you found them helpful. Before we conclude this blog, we’ll leave you with one last tip.
