Why Indoor Gardening is becoming so popular

I will be making some references to the hub info above in this section but really just wanted to do a quick recap on indoor gardening. A lot of the USA’s population thinks gardening only means growing outdoors or in a big greenhouse facility. For the most part, they were right but only until these SP129D led grow lights came about was it actually easy and feasible enough for the average home owner or even renter to have a small indoor garden. Using a Grow Stealth led grow light and a 4x4 tent I can grow vegetables all winter long and also prepare for a super healthy outdoor garden in the spring.

The light I have now is a 600 watt unit, but it is overkill haha! I could get away with using a 110 watt unit to grow 4 big tomato plants at once! So lets see here, get rid of one light bulb on your house bang, you’re getting free tomatoes all year around. Before using a 100 watt HPs, well it cost you a small fortune “in electric” to grow the same tomatoes.

Now I love telling this story to my local gardening buddies so here goes. I went to a big box retail store late in the season. I failed to get my seeds going as I wishes because I was out of the country. Anyhow I needed 72 plants for my garden which normally is no big deal when starting from seed. So I get to the garden department and find that all the little starter plants are 4.00 each! Now do the math on that, yea around 300 bucks! I said nope, and walked over to the seed bin, and got 4 packs of seeds for 4 dollars… Guess my garden will be late this year..

Now what’s funny about this is even if I am not using any grow light it still would be cheaper to just buy the darn tomatoes at the grocery store rather than try and grow my 0.00 worth of starter plants and hope for the best. I originally got into gardening to save money and if you plan right you really can, if not you could end up just costing yourself more money for the same fruits and vegetables.
