Fifty Shades of Grey movies shooting Moves in Miami

Director Sam Taylor-Johnson has been replaced! Not by the producers silly! But by the bad weather in Vancouver, where she was shooting with her team, the film “Fifty Shades of Grey”.  She was not literally replaced, but the weather has started calling the shots in Vancouver, and with such erratic weather conditions and one of the worst colds that America and Canada have seen, the team decided to shift base to Miami and shoot the exterior portions in downtown Miami. With the weather playing spoilt sport, the team decided that Miami would be a better alternative for them, given that the downtown Miami skyline resembles the downtown Vancouver skyline a lot. With the polar vortex making a lot of noise on the weather circuit, this move was quite anticipated by some.

When you shoot a hot pair like that of Ana and Christian Grey, placed by two equally stunning and smoking hot actors, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, you should not be worried that the action will be dull any time, when you are shooting some of the scenes inside the rooms (we hope you get the drift), but when you have to outdoors to catch all the exciting and important scenes, weather is a factor that has to be taken into consideration. When the first pictures of the shooting in Vancouver had emerged, it was pretty evident, how compatible the pair looked with each other. Be it the ‘contract scene’ or the ‘bike scene’ or even the ‘cafe scene’, the stars, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan not only looked good together but also made us fall in love little by little with their love story.

Though their love story might be a little unconventional, but when the pictures of their near kiss on the shoot emerged, we could not help but wish for them to fall in love. Right from the shooting of the ‘contract scene’ not only did we see the couple share a sparkling chemistry, but we also saw them, in between shots, dressed in quilted jackets and Ugg boots, visibly trying to ward off the cold. In the ‘contract scene’ itself, we saw Grey dressed in a sharp suit and Ana, played by Dakota Johnson, in a red dress, but with a camel coloured belted trench coat.

In one of the most crucial scenes that has been shot till now, the ‘bike scene’, where we see, Jamie aka Christian rescue Ana from a speeding biker, he is dressed in a sharp suit and crisp collared shirt and Dakota is seen wearing a pair of denims with an army jacket in green, probably to protect them from the unkind weather. In between the shooting of Fifty Shades scene too, the pair was seen keeping themselves cosy in quilted jackets and mock ballroom dancing to feel a little warm. The cafe scene is probably the most appropriate when it came to tackling the ruthless blows the weather cast on the team of “Fifty Shades”. Shot in a cafe with as many as 44 cups of lattes, the actors and the entire team had enough caffeine to keep them warm (and looking hot too) especially Jamie!
