Replacement Best Dell Laptop Battery Online at Dellbattery.net

The 2020 Dell XPS 15 9500 and the 16-inch MacBook Pro are arguably the two best large-screen laptops today. Can the XPS 15 9500 replace the MBP 16? Here’s my answer.

Review backgrounder: I’ve had the 16-inch MacBook Pro for about a year. Battery Dell XPS 13 7390 And the Dell XPS 15 9500 for about 3 months.

First a quick review of the two laptops after spending a lot of time with both.

As a point of reference, my backpack with the 13-inch Dell XPS 13 9310 or HP EliteBook x360 1030 is light enough for long-distance hauling (e.g., long treks through airports).

While the Dell XPS 15 9500 and 16-inch MacBook Pro are by no means backbreaking, Dell Battery they may be too heavy for some to tote around and repeatedly pull out of your bag if you’re very mobile, i.e., a road warrior and often at airports. That said, if you need a large-screen laptop, you’ll get used to the extra pound or so. I did.

Aside from big screens, this is the reason consumers and professionals buy large-screen laptops. The XPS 15 9500, for example, has Intel’s 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10875H (8-core) coupled with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti. For someone who often tests and uses 13-inch laptops, the 9500 is extremely (and refreshingly) fast, crushing any task you throw at it. That can be addictive.

Ditto on the 16-inch MacBook Pro. (Though now it must compete with the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Apple’s M1 processor.)

Geekbench 5 scores for the XPS 15 9500 and the MacBook Pro 16 I’ve been using.

I’ll focus here on screen real estate. The simple fact is, big displays are much better than small displays. Battery  Dell XPS 13 9350 Hence the ever-larger big-screen smartphones from Apple and Samsung and the general boom in big-screen phones.

Bottom line is, large displays make a huge difference in productivity and gaming.

Battery life:

If I’m careful with display brightness and keep video-watching to a minimum (I’m not a gamer), both can make it through a Los Angeles to New York flight — and beyond. So, if you keep a close eye on what you’re doing, you can probably squeeze out a full day on either laptop.

The Dell XPS 15 9500 as a daily driver

As good as the 16-inch MacBook Pro is, Battery Dell XPS 15 9560 I’m trading it in for a late-2020 13-inch MacBook Pro 13 with the M1 processor.

Apple eats its own sometimes and that’s what’s happened here.

The Dell XPS 15 9500 is now the main laptop I use* on my desktop among a stable of new laptops I test. It’s a painless replacement for my MacBook Pro 16.

All of the productivity applications I use are cross-platform, i.e., they run on both Mac and Windows.

Spec comparisons aside, Dell beats Apple on bang for the buck: Dell packs a faster Intel processor, faster graphics, and a higher-resolution display than the MBP 16 at a lower price.

Both laptops are a technological tour de force with good aesthetics and thoughtful designs and I can recommend both.

That said, Apple will undoubtedly, at some point, be replacing the current Intel-based 16-inch MacBook Pro with a more powerful version based on a variant of its new M1 processor. That means the current MBP 16 is destined for obsolescence.
