It is important to remember that five major forms of chemistry exist and we will discuss them below briefly. They are—

1. PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY-This is actually the analysis of matter's physical properties as well as how it acts. What slowly or rapidly causes reactions to occur is also studied here.

2. ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY-Strictly deals with both the detection and quantification of matter.

3. BIOCHEMISTRY-The concepts of chemicals in biology are investigated by this form of chemistry.

4. ORGANIC CHEMISTRY-The chemical laws of organs in nature are literally dealt with.

5. INORGANIC CHEMISTRY- The elements of chemistry seen in plants are concerned.
