Human Immunoglobulin for Intravenous Injection is a new generation of products that promise to offer an enhanced immune function to patients with chronic illnesses. It can be used for a variety of disorders including cancer, hepatitis, infectious disease, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Crohn's disease, and multiple sclerosis. This product can also be used to enhance the function of bone marrow cells. The key properties of this complex carbohydrate include immuno-augmentation, which is the stimulation of the T-cells. Enhanced immunity is achieved by enhancing the function of the killer cells of the body.

Injection of Human immunoglobulin has enabled patients with HIV, AIDS, SARS, Mumps, and Hepatitis to live longer and healthier lives. A major problem in the treatment of many forms of cancer also improves with the administration of Human immunoglobulin, including solid cancers and transplanted organs such as the liver. Perhaps the most important reason for its success in combating so many diseases is its ability to prevent disease. The immune system protects the body from infections and diseases by producing antibodies against foreign matters. Unfortunately, sometimes the immunity system cannot produce enough antibodies or it fails to do so adequately. When this happens, the patient becomes sick. Human immunoglobulin can be given to boost the immunity system. Proposed as a supplement to IVIG, a study is ongoing at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
