The Kaffir Kalash people live in the three valleys of Bombolit, the former unexplored region of the Chitral kingdom, located at the foot of the Hindu Kush Mountains. They still live in the mountains of Hindu Kush, far from the town, and unlike Muslims and Christians, their origins are pagan, dating back to the mysterious times of Hindu Kush. "Kalash (Karasha)", which they call themselves, means "extremely poor" and "have no one" in the Persian tribe, and "kafir" means unbelievers. From the perspective of the people of the Persian world, they were mysterious people who were neither Islamic nor Hindu nor Zoroaster. Chitral is derived from Kafir and is also known as Kafiristan. Nothing is certain about their origin. It is not known. Some tribes invaded the area in 327 BC and claimed to be descendants of the army of King Alexander the Great who did not return to Greece, and some tribes came from Arabia before the arrival of Islam. He also claims that some tribes are immigrants from Afghanistan. In recent years, a Greek organization has set up an office, and the exchange of the same ethnic group has begun beyond the time of 2340. Today, the Kalash people from 20 villages with about 3,000 people in the three valleys of Billill, Bamblet and Lambourn. We follow polytheism, including all living flora and fauna and belief in harvesting, love music and dance, and enjoy different dances at each seasonal festival.
