It is not necessary that disputes are among organizations, agencies. There can be disputes in a family which no further can be sorted out by talking. For crimes like murder, rape there are criminal courts, for money or property disputes there are civil courts similarly there are also family courts which summon to decide matters related to family law. A family court is therefore a much more relaxed and less formal court than a criminal or civil court but still has a court environment. It is said to be a specialist court for family issues like adoption, residence of children and children care, contact with.

In criminal or civil court the courtroom looks more like a traditional court while in a family court the whole hearing is conducted around a large round table sitting just like a company meeting. The people in these special courts in front of the magistrates depend on whether it is a Private Law or Public Law case. A Private Law case is that case when children are believed to be in some danger and some action is to be taken to help them by any authority. While a Private Law case is that case when families fight about things like who with the child live after his/her parents have separated. The magistrates or judges seek advice from social workers about the best interests of the children before making their decisions about the future of children.

In order to maintain law and order in the society the government made criminal law. Criminal law is the body of the law that prohibits any individual from threatening and harming the public interests, safety, health and moral welfare of people.  The people who violate these laws are punished to protect the society. Criminal law also distinguish between serious and minor offenses; defines and warns people of the acts that may make them a part of criminal punishment. Criminal law is different from civil law in which emphasis is given to resolve the dispute and compensate rather than punishment.

Criminal law serves purposes like maintaining order in the society, resolving disputes between organizations and people, protecting individuals and property from criminals, providing smooth functioning society with peace and harmony. Anyone can court case lookup in order to find useful information regarding the case. All the information regarding a particular case can be searched.
