Why should you Buy Deae Cellulose 52 for chromatography?

Biophoretics started in 2005 as an R&D company in an air plane hangar situated in Truckee, CA; in the Sierra Nevada mountains at 6,000’ height. Our goal is developing an automated 2D electrophoresis platform. Doing 2DE at altitude in a very dry climate generate some interesting, practical challenges; but we pressed on.

Deae Cellulose 52

In January 2010 our commercial business was begun, giving high value, focused electrophoresis and general laboratory instruments, reagents, biochemicals and enzymes. We supply the requirements of scientists in academia, biopharma. and pharmaceutical organizations.

We produce Deae Cellulose 52 which is positively charged resin utilized in ion exchange chromatography, for the partition and decontamination of protein and nucleic acids. The proteins are discharged from the resin by rising the salt concentration of the solvent or altering the pH of the solution as to alter the charge on the protein.

Deae Cellulose 52 is prepared for convenience and to offer high binding capacity and resolution. The chromatography should be executed at least 2 pH units below the pKa of the amine group, 10. The power of the bond between the resin and protein is completely dependent on the pH range in the column and the pI of the protein of interest. The resin is a weak exchanger because it is only partly ionized over most pH values, and a competent separation with DEAE-C chromatography needs a particular, fine pH range.
