World of Warcraft: Shadowlands becomes fastest-selling PC game of all time

On Tuesday morning, Activision Blizzard announced that the eighth expansion in the iconic MMORPG’s franchise, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, became the fastest-selling PC game of all time. By the end of the expansion’s launch day, which took place on November 23, more than 3.7 million units had been sold globally, according to Activision Blizzard. According to Activision Blizzard, players have spent more time playing the franchise this year than any time during the last decade and nearly double last year’s total.
