Challenges Faced by a Career-Oriented Woman in a Society

Women have the power to accomplish everything they set their minds to. In the 21^st century, we see women leaders in positions of power, breaking all the stereotypes, and negating the socially constructed notions that restrict women to achieve their full potential. The truth is, that women have always been capable of doing wonders in the world. It’s just that they need the right platform and recognition to empower their capabilities.

Nicola Steel in her book “The Successful Sidekick Revolution for Women”,  highlights a thought-provoking concept that empowers women. She aims to support women to build their own businesses, leverages their skills, dreams big, and let no obstacle get in their way of success.

A passionate working woman is bound to encounter several challenges. While lack of opportunities and family responsibilities remain the key hurdles on the way, there are also these preconceived societal notions that do not allow women to explore and use their talents to the fullest.  It’s imperative for a woman to be heedless of such retrogressive ideas in order to be successful in life. Women have the power to achieve whatever they want to. Today, we see women running the governments, stepping into outer space, developing algorithms, excelling in medical fields, and what more.

No country can prosper if it deprives women of basic education. Women's empowerment is directly proportional to the level of education available to them. An advanced, upgraded system of education and state-of-the-art laboratories and institutes are vital to providing women with the right exposure of high-quality education.
