Mercedes KG menu code keyless entry control procedures

Without key control, driver authentication system adopts latest wireless technology, can control door, truck, interior and exterior light, anti-theft, ignition and engine system. Fcar engine scan tool(F3-W or F3-G auto diagnostic tool) will display function menu after entry to this system. Select “controller code”, functions like initial start, control unit reset, distributing sending card for keys etc. of this system can be seen.
1,Initial start
Select the first item in submenu: “Initial start”.System will firstly prompt process of the whole operation; After confirm, system reads distribution No. of sending card, and user required to note it down. Then prompt to close ignition switch and replace with new computer. After that, open ignition switch and select ’keyless entry sending card 1’and ‘keyless entry sending card 2’to match in matching item “distributing sending card for key”.

2,Control unit reset
Select the second item in submenu: “control unit reset”.For this system, only need to close ignition switch and then open. Fcar engine scan tool will automatically finish operations.

3,Distributing sending card for key
Select the third item displayed:” Distributing sending card for key”. Control unit reset this menu and has following functions: confirm the current sending card, cancel distribution and learn sending card, keyless entry sending card 1, keyless entry sending card 2.

1）Select Item 1:”Confirm current sending card”, enter this menu, Fcar engine scan tool will prompts firstly：“Put sending card on driver seat and lasts 30 seconds,

2）Select the second item: ”cancel distribution and learn sending card”. Entry to this menu and Fcar engine scan tool will have prompts. After confirm, Fcar engine scan tool will cancel related data, two possibilities will be seen in the next step: distribution known between sending card and key track, and distribution unknown between sending card and key track. If select F3, Fcar engine scan tool will read out relation between current card and key track firstly, then inquire about corresponding relationship between user card 1 and key track, users are required to input value previously read, confirm to complete matching of card 1,and then the matching of card 2,the method is the same with card 1.

3）Select the third item: ”Keyless entry sending card 1”.Fcar engine scan tool firstly read out relation between current card and key track, and then inquire about corresponding relationship between user card and key track, users are required to to input value previously read, confirm to complete distribution of card 1.

4）Select item 4:”keyless entry sending card 2”.Its steps are the same with sending card 1.
