Nobody likes that unpleasant odor of tobacco in furniture or clothes. Even passionate smokers feel disgusted when they smell cigarette smoke in their clothes. That horrible odor can almost be unbearable for you or any of your guests. The smell of tobacco can be noticed immediately.  It is impossible to hide. If ventilating the room doesn’t help at all, it is most likely that the source of such odors is your furniture.

Fortunately, this is a problem you can solve easily. Carpet Cleaning Arlington can help you with that. There are several methods for removing the odor and they are all-natural. Just continue reading this blog and follow these simple tips. Your home will smell wonderful again in no time.

1. VINEGAR

Vinegar is used in many cleaning agents, so you can consider using it for this purpose because it is good for neutralizing odors. For wooden furniture, spray a solution of vinegar and warm water and wipe the whole surface with a cotton cloth.

 2.SODA

If you do not want the smell of vinegar on your furniture, try baking soda. Baking soda will perfectly absorb odors from the environment. It is a perfect solution for furniture with drawers – close the container with baking soda for 24 hours in a drawer and it will absorb all the smells. Baking soda will be much more useful in cleaning upholstery furniture than vinegar. Before you do anything else vacuum your furniture, then sprinkle the entire surface with baking soda, leave it for 24 hours and vacuum the next day.

3. COFEE

If nothing else works you can always tray with coffee or charcoal. Both of these are excellent for absorbing odors. Just place coffee or charcoal around the room and you should smell the difference after just 24 hours.
