Seeing Kl - One Short Getaway in 2021Posted by White Wang on February 2nd, 2021 We had scheduled a short escape in Klang Valley, Malaysia. Being a nonstop city person, we understood that the first stop would be in Kuala Lumpur. We were worried about the lodging facilities in Kuala Lumpur and being a noninvasive individual ourselves, we were not going to get disappointed. It had been quite long since we have gone to eat in a restaurant or even to have coffee in a cafe. But this time, we decided to create an experience of it - be it a short getaway or weekend short getaway in Malaysia. Saturday, April 14th. The sky is blue and the sky is beautiful. Sunday, April 15th. The sky is still blue and beautiful. Monday, April 16th. The sky is still beautiful. On April 14th, we were met by our friend Mr. Lim Siow Jin from Malaysia. We are excited to be here in Malaysia. We ask Lim Siow Jin for directions to our destination. He gives us directions to this place called This Boarding and then we had a brief talk about his business and about our expectations. This Boarding isn't your typical boarding institution that you would find at many resorts in Kl. We walked for three hours in the darkness to get to our accommodation. Upon reaching the lodging, we were impressed by the cleanliness and the hospitality of their staff. They greeted us warmly and offered us a delicious dinner. In the way they treated us, we got the feeling that the attitude and service of the employees are of a high quality. We were very lucky that our agent was nice enough to send us to this hidden gem in Kl we ended up loving. In the following paragraphs, I will share with you the experiences of our team. One night, our team and I had a wonderful conversation with our management agent, Mr. Lim Siow Jin. Here are some things we shared with him in this discussion: Mr. Lim Siow Jin, this review is the subjective opinion of a tripadvisor member and not of the person who actually booked the accommodation. Initially we met with him, he invited us to his home for a meeting. He gave us his card so we can ask for the directions to his dwelling. He then showed us his lovely garden. It was really impressive and we're really impressed. Mr. Lim Siow Jin told us that he wasn't from Kl and that he'd come here to help us with our organization. He wanted to know what we were doing and why we were doing it. retreat in kl is when he encouraged us to try his food. After we tried one of his dishes, we were immediately hooked! That is where we experienced the true essence of short getaway in Kl. The food is truly amazing! Mr. Lim Siow Jin had also brought along his friend's dog, a Vietnamese brown bear called Bo, to entertain us. The three of them really enjoyed his food and even shared some. We left their food on the table and headed back to our accommodation. We had enough time to enjoy ourselves while we stayed at our accommodations. That night, we went out for supper. We must sit and talk with each other over the meals. That's when we learned that Bo was actually a vet and that his owner, Mr. Lim Siow Jin, is from Vietnam. We heard so much about the culture in Kl and about the hospitality of the people there. We all decided that it would be best if we could just stay at our lodging and experience the real essence of a getaway. So we planned to stay for a week. We planned to explore the town and sample everything that we could have gotten in our trip. On our second day, we were already looking forward to our next adventure. We knew that we had found our home away from home. retreat in kl remember the experience that we had gone through when we visited Kl. We were treated very well by the natives. They offered us so much food and wine which we had never tasted before. And, we got to see things that we might have never been able to see elsewhere. However many short getaways you've been to, you will always remember the time that you spent there. I would love to return to Kl - at least once, to experience what it is like to live there.
