Landscape fabric is also great to use under rock and gravel landscaping. It also helps improve the yard design. The fabric offers an economical and sustainable option to keep weeds away. This type of installation is not suitable for vegetable garden and annual flowers.

There are always pros and cons of using landscape fabric. The fabric may deteriorate over time and cause other things to seep into the soil. The soil may also not receive pure nutrients from organic sources.

Initially, weed cloth can prevent the growth of weed, but gradually it can deteriorate so requires changing frequently. Therefore, you must pay attention to changing the weed cloth regularly. It decomposes after a few years of use and it can also impact the soil beneath it. So, it is recommended to change the weed cloth to make the best use of it.
