Trader Joe's Store in Los Angeles, CA 90036263 S La Brea Ave Los Angeles, CA 90036ReviewsNot typically the traders Joe's I go to, and they were out of stock of some items, but one of the associates Sterling earned this review from me. My boyfriend and I were browsing for meat alternatives for our "meatless monday" and Sterling took the time to help and give personal recommendations which he did not have to do. He was super friendly and went above and beyond.Best ReviewsMy boyfriend and I do our grocery shopping at Trader Joe's every weekend (usually the one, by USC. That one is usually super crowded with students ). This TJ's is clean, less crowded, which is nice!Top ReviewsAwful service and awful management. Herb who is a store manager is an asshole. No longer going to this Trader Joe's.2. Trader Joe's in Los Angeles, CA 90036175 S Fairfax Ave Los Angeles, CA 90036Best ReviewsYou May Also Like:- Home Depot Locations - Goodwill Locations - Wells Fargo Locations Best place for me to find what I need each and every week. Love the senior hour each morning. Shelves are full and I'm in and out within an hour or less. And best of all employees are helpful and go the extra steps to insure that I get what I need.Top ReviewsService 100%! I will totaly go out of my way to come to this one merely for the service. There is a young man at this one who is absolutely what makes trader joes faborable. He embodies what everyone wants in an employee and human. Just a kind young man. I wish I could remember his name... I want to say Jake.. But I'm not certain..RecommendedI don't love this location. Their flower selection is weak, shelves are oddly low and the overall layout is strange. It's nice that they have their own lot with free parking and it is a larger store, but I prefer the one on Santa Monica in Weho. I purchased some bananas and basil. It's nice to see they have a solid amount of organic items, and prices at Trader Joe's are hard to beat.3. Trader Joe's Store in West Hollywood, CA 900467310 Santa Monica Blvd West Hollywood, CA 90046RecommendedInstead of steadily managing the inflow and outflow of customers, this location does a very odd thing where they let too many people in, realize they're at capacity, then just close their doors for 15-20 minutes. The tape outside is faint and confusing. Nobody stands at the door so you just feel totally alone and frustrated. It's... not great.ReviewsI was in LA over the weekend and we were in the Santa Monica area and decided to come in here to get some familiar snacks for home like the crunchies, mint melts and some lotion. Same great price as wHEN I go shopping across the border. Everything is nicely laid out and the staff were super helpful.Reviewsi love all of the products that i have tried, the store workers are amazingly friendly, the prices are great and the store is spotless. they give samples out that are fun to try and they always have free coffee shots available. if you haven't been here you need to try it.4. Trader Joe's Store in Los Angeles, CA1600 N Vine St Los Angeles, CA 90028RecommendedLove that this location is walking distance from where I live so it makes it easy if I need something quick. The staff is very courtesy and friendly. There's always amazing samples around the store and the items are always stocked up. If something isn't out on the shelves, the staff will look in the back and restock if they have it.Recommended ReviewsDid not let me return or refund unopened product that tastes bad. Employee was not helpful regarding this.Top ReviewsToday I told an employee who was stocking vegetables I found an opened salad and he gave me an extremely annoyed "what???" then unhappily took it after I repeated what I said. I was trying to help you guys out.5. Trader Joe's in Los Angeles3131 S Hoover St #Ste 1920 Los Angeles, CA 90089Top ReviewsThis store is doing a fantastic job during the LA quarantine. They have a well organized system of lining up to enter store using taped marks for distancing, and limit tthe number of people in the store at any one time. Well stocked shelves with everything I needed. Well organized single line to check out, with plenty of friendly checkout clerks. And seniors can enter without waiting in line from 9-10 am. A very pleasant experience and a comfort to know they are there during this unusual time.RecommendedCame to Tjs for a few items. Located next to USC, it is very clean and organized. Workers were very friendly and well informed. Parking is easy in the lot. I'd come back again.Best ReviewsThis Trader Joe's has a great selection of products but a terrible check out strategy. I'm not sure what's the rationale for having people stand in a single file line to then wait for a cashier to become available. This strategy is creating a bottle neck impact in the store to the point that people are standing in line occupying the aisle. As a consumer this makes my shopping experience difficult when I have to tell people if they can please move out of my way so that I can grab a product. There have been a few times where I have walked out of the store without purchasing anything because I prefer that than to deal with this issue.Like it? Share it!More by this author |
