Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) is a way to obtain Canadian Permanent Residence and it allows the Provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and settle in the particular province.

Provincial nominee program Canada provides a valuable route to permanent residency in Canada. Provincial Nominee Programs are a major aspect of Canada’s immigration government policies. When you plan to emigrate to Canada via the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), you must be named by a province or territory in Canada and their regional immigration nominee specialist.

After your application has been approved by the province or territory, your last step is to introduce for permanent residence within the period specified by them. On average processing time, immigration may take about 10-12 months through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), but the candidate may also apply for a provincial nomination by stating the preferences in an Express Entry profile.

You must be eligible to apply for Canada PNP, you must have the qualifications, knowledge and job experience you need to permanently settle down, and maintain yourself and your spouse and your family members. The province or territory will determine whether you, and those of Canada, will meet their financial or worker market demands.If you will apply through the Express Entry program or via normal application process, the province or territory must let you know:

  1. Nomination under PNP stream of Express Entry
  2. Nomination under PNP stream of non-Express Entry.

    Once you are invited to apply, you have to submit an electronic application to IRCC. To be
    nominated by a province or territory, instructions and guidelines set by them need to be
    followed.
