To most people watching a movie, it is a passive entertainment. Movies is slang for a moving picture. Cinema is in part Greek from the Greek cinema which means motion, and in English, means to move about. So essentially, cinema is simply another word for moving picture. However, in more context, the movie theater is simply the place where movies are shown, normally housed inside a building.

Movies have developed over the years into multi-million dollar business, largely because of their visual and performing quality. The early films, mostly made in black and white, were not very good and only had a single colored screen. Later, with the progress in technology, films were able to be viewed on big screens with color and increased sound, as well as original music and special effects. Film development also gave birth to countless genres, such as war, horror, comedy, science fiction, horror movies, and so on. Since the early 1900s, cinema has developed to different genres, such as action, crime, children's movies, fantasy, home movies, medical, horror, and others. Also, since the late nineteen hundreds, all movies are available with English subtitles. ดูหนังแวมไพร์ ทไวไลท์ ภาค 2

One of the major milestones in the evolution of the movie theater was the invention of the VCR, or digital video recorder. This device allowed a movie to be recorded onto a magnetic disc and then played back at a later time. This made the process of developing a film simpler, as well as more cost-effective. Later, video recorders that contained a VCR-like input device were called "VCRs" (for "videophone recorder"), and these types of recorders are still used interchangeably today.

The earliest snack machines for movie theaters emerged in France, America, Japan, and England during the late nineteen hundreds. These snack machines had a pre-recorded cartoon or a fictional film to play, and while people were eating their snacks they would press a button on their machine to watch the movie as it played. These early snack machines, which are often referred to as popcorn machines, used oil or butter as their topping, and some even included a toy like a rabbit or frog. In order to get the movie to pop out, one would carefully press a lever against the popcorn chamber, which would release the small contents.

Over the years, more sophisticated methods of popping popcorn have been developed. The first contraptions simply consisted of a crank mechanism, which is still popular to this day. After the crank was replaced by an electric timer, the next improvement came in the form of what we know today as "Movie Popcorn Machines". These machines use a popcorn popper that is connected to a gas line, and when a button on the machine is pressed, a jet of oil is expelled that creates the hot popcorn that most people love. This type of popcorn machine is commonly used at movie theaters and is very popular at children's birthday parties.

Movie theater owners also use popcorn machines to enhance the visual experience of watching their favorite movies. When you go to the movie theater, you will see everything in 3-D, including the special effects and much of the movie being shown. But theater owners realized that they could also add additional touches to their movies, such as popcorn. Soon after, theater owners began creating concession stands and snack bars inside the movie theater that offered an assortment of goodies for their patrons to enjoy while they were watching their favorite films. Today, many people come to the movie theater in the hopes of seeing a good film, and many of them do not even leave the theater without purchasing some popcorn, or a few treats.
