Next to Castro street this has got to be one of the worst branches in all of San Francisco. They only have 1 teller while other people walk around asking if they can help. Clearly they can by getting behind the counter and acting as a second teller. Now that the only teller here needs to eat lunch this branch is essentially closed for the hour that that will take. What happened to be in open from 9 to 5? B of A must stand for Bunch of America. Corporate doesn't give a krapp about its base, just its bottom line.

I have had a BofA account for decades, (actually since I was an executive secretary at the downtown headquarters back-in-the-day!) and one branch may just be like any another bank branch, UNLESS you happen to have the good fortune to be expertly assisted by Joaquin De La Torre, a Relationship Manager at the Diamond Heights branch. I had to make a fraud claim, of a minor amount of $, and nevertheless, Mr. De La Torre worked on my behalf, helping navigate through the bumps along the way. He was diligent and thorough and did not 'rest' until every aspect of this issue was settled for me. I have rarely had the good fortune to be treated with such professional courtesy by one so clearly committed to doing their job with skill and warmth. I think BofA is fortunate to have an employee who does the bank so proud. Thank you again Joaquin De La Torre!

Although we have a business account and we use the merchant line; it'll take me a minimum of 15-20 minutes on a good day just to make a deposit. The teller handling the business line is the slowest teller with an attitude.

Everyone was covid safe work mask and gloves and provided hand sanitizer. But their attitude was not acceptable. No one wanted to assist me. and their atm machine was down so I had to wait for a relersantive. No one was assisting someone. Just sitting there. I asked if I can make a quick deposit they would direct me to the atm. I told them it was broken. Then they said I'll be with you in a minute. 20 minutes past 3 people didn't want to help me. I ended up leaving because I was running late for a meeting. What a complete waste of time.

I just opened up an account there with Stacee, their branch relationship manager, and it was without a doubt the most pleasant first time experience I've had in a bank then I can remember? In fact I commented to friends that I was fearful I would get a "big bank" clinical process in opening up an account there, and it was the exact opposite. JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Citibank... You should come to this branch and watch how Stacee runs her biz!

Sorry, but stopping by after work around 4:30pm I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes. There were 2 employees helping out, but all of a sudden one of the employees decides to start walking around and doing stuff in the back. Excuse me, but there is a line of about 5 people and we are not moving. I don't think there is something that important to tend to in the back (I can see her doing nothing) that you can help move the line along. Pretty frustrating, but most BofA's are like this. Always a long line and no workers.

This bank takes forever every single time its a long ass wait. Not sure if its the tellers or always short on staff or what but man avoid this branch if possible if you are in a hurry.

3 Negative stars on line service. it feels like torture every time I go here. I'm am so disgusted at having to wait a ridicules long time during med day. I don't understand why this bank does not staff enough. Banks should know when customers need service around lunch and between then to closing people have to go to work and return from work. I't is also aggravating to see a line of 10 to 15 customers with only to two out of 4 to 8 windows open. I'm sure who but someone not doing there job. I should not have this kind of experience.

I can't complain ... the ATM's give me money, I don't need to see a teller often, if at all, and don't pay any service charges with my ATM checking. I did lose some cash in those new cash counting ATM's and the tellers inside were able to help retrieve the cash. Next thing I need to do is put some documents in a safe deposit box.

Scoundrels. Licensed to thieve. Wearing their questionable technical loopholes and hands-in-the air "Can't really help ya out with that, nope no manager here today" attitude like a thorny crown of inadequacy and fraud. B of A - you are truly the blight of bankdom.

Bank of America sucks! I would give them negative stars if I could. The customer service sucks, they always put large deposits on hold for days, and everyone that works for the company always have shitty attitudes. I'm taking out all my money and putting it in WAMU or USAA.

I give them the worst review. My grandmother is elderly and I help her with her independence and they are very rude. Eric is rude and talks very mean and loud, practically yelling. Another women as well and when I get her name I will make another post as well. They should be helping me help my grandmother but instead they make it very difficult for me to help her. My grandmother has been a member of this bank since the 1960's or 1970's and she is very appalled the way they treat her and her grandson, me. Very bad business. Oh, she is also elderly and they never have a teller for the elderly and always pass her up in line no matter when she gets there, they finish the line before they help her. They help the people that even came after her and just keep her waiting there. Just a horrible place.

Hours are not posted and when you call, they ask you to check the website for hours. I checked the website and confirmed that they were open and paid for parking just to show up and have a guy tell me that they are only open for merchant services until 12pm even though the bank is pretty much empty. Guy claims that they have a lot of catching up to do and asked that I come back in an hour. Sure, I understand the pandemic is rough, but it is not an excuse to be lazy and be worse that you already were before all this. Very disappointing visit.

This is the branch that caused me to divest from Bank of America finally, closing my accounts for good. I was one of the activists responsible for San Francisco promising to divest millions from BoA due to their support of the Dakota Access Pipeline and the violence towards Native Americans and environmental destruction that came with it. As if that weren't enough, the red-haired older woman who stands uselessly at the front of the line, when I suggested she get more tellers actually working at the front desk, suggested I go online. To deposit the huge amount of cash I'd carried in there? How dare I cause such an inconvenience by actually walking into a bank (that I fund via my business and their useless fees)? Nevermind, I told her. I will deposit it into Alliant Credit Union instead.

Several years ago we opened savings accounts for our children. When we went back recently to make a deposit, the money was all gone. We were told that the account had been closed due to inactivity and the money sent to the state. (It isn't in the unclaimed funds database, btw). All this, without any notification or a phone call? This is the worst possible neighborhood banking experience.
