I acknowledge that incompetence is the norm in Miami, but having to wait over 2.5 hours for a pre-employment drug screen is outrageous, especially while the employees are clearly not busy, in the back laughing and joking in Spanish. I also had came the day before, but was turned away because testing "ends at 2:00 pm." Then why is your closing time listed as 3:00 pm? Get better at your jobs.ReviewsI live in Hialeah and have 2 Lab Corps by me, but the reviews made me want to come here. The guy @ the front desk isn't really friendly, I asked for the price and he wasn't specific with me. The short nurse drew my blood quicker than anyone and was gentle but again, not really friendly. I was seen at 2:00 p.m. People who came after and did not have appointments got in before me because they knew the lab technician. This is definitely not professional. Although there is a check in machine which should prevent people from cheating the wait line, the technicians are still giving preferential treatments to those they know.RecommendedI had so much anxiety about giving 6 viles of blood that I literally walked out and started crying outside. Arlene brought me in a special room where I could lay down and she must have used a small needle because I didn't even feel it. She talked to me and had me doing breathing exercises and before I knew it, it was over. I'm so thankful for Arlene. They're not gentle at all, they take that needle out like they hate you! I have been taking blood text for my pregnancy in my doctors office, and that never happened before. Hadn't printed my lab request from my doctor which they needed physical copy (no warning beforehand). They suggested for me to go home to print the paper and come back (WHAT) or fax it. How am I supposed to fax a digital document from my phone? I ended up having to pay for an app for me to do so. Both receptionist gossiping in Spanish and absolutely NO customer service. Easy self check in, as long as you have your drivers license and insurance information. Javier is the best phlebotomist ever. He is fast but gentle! I have very small veins and it is always a problem with other phlebotomists Javier found the right one in less than three seconds, no pain and no bruising.
