• The sleeves on guy's shirts are ordinarily longer, although there are people who like them a bit shorter. Typically, however, they go down to the top of the elbow, with shoulders sloping slightly down from the collar. The sleeves slope from the shoulder down to the hem. This type of cut makes the neck, shoulder, and bicep areas feel more comfortable. Women's shirts on the other hand, tend to have shorter sleeves that go just above the bicep or slightly longer, ending at the forearm. • Lastly, women's shirts have extra room for the bust area, which is why they come with a hint of an hourglass figure when laid flat, as opposed to men's shirts that are a straight capital T.
