Earth Month Nothin' But Sand Beach Cleanup

How do you celebrate Earth Day or Earth Month? What is your contribution when it comes to saving our planet from further destruction? People usually do not do anything because they believe that what they are doing is just a really small thing. However, put together, all those small efforts become really huge. That is why it is important that we all do what we can to help out.

One of the events that had people helping out was the Earth Month Nothin? But Sand Beach Cleanup. It happened on the 18th of this month and started at ten in the morning and ended two hours after. Yes, it was a very simple and a short event at that but it definitely was something quite unforgettable. With all of the organizers and all those who were interested in helping out meeting up at the Santa Monica Beach right in Ocean Park, they all were able to help out save the planet their own way. Being part of this event was their contribution. The event had volunteers coming in and helping out. It surely was a good way to clean the beach and also meet new people who had the same goals as yours when it comes to keeping the planet clean.

Though there were some mishaps like several volunteers getting into any taxi, cab, or taxicab and finding themselves in circles because, apparently, the driver did not know where to go, it was a successful event. The trick here was to get help from LAYellowCab and choose any Hollywoodcab, Hollywood taxi, Hollywoodtaxicab, Santamonica cab, Santamonica taxi, or Santamonica taxicab that they are offering in their fleet. LA Yellow Cab is a company that is known for its quality taxi, taxicab, and cab services. If volunteers were traveling as a group to the meet up place, they can easily book any Hollywoodcab, Hollywoodtaxicab, Santamonica taxi, Hollywood taxi, Santamonica cab, or Santamonica taxicab with the company and tell them that they needed a big ride to fit all of them.

For Nothin? But Sand, the group behind this really interesting event, they believe that this kind of thing should happen on a regular basis. Though they may be cleaning the beach right now, there sure will be garbage to clean up every time. That is why they are making this a regular stint and having it every month on the third Saturday. There are waivers for all participants to sign during the start of each event to ensure safety for everybody.

It does not matter if you do not know anybody. It does not matter if you will be tagging along with your parents. It does not matter if you would be going there with friends. It does not matter if you would be alone. The whole event is open to everybody who is interested and they do not care who you are. In fact, if you wish to bring friends, go ahead and do that. If not, you can always make new friends there while you clean up the beach.
