Keith’s involvement as a triathlete assisted in his plans and eagerness to make Xterra Wetsuits. As a collegiate runner, Keith instantly turned out to be serious about triathlon to remain competitive beyond running. The Achilles heel for Keith’s triathlon events had been initially the swim. Triathlon wetsuits come to life in order to make the sport more comfy and also more riskless in cold water events. Immediately realizing that these suits as well accelerated swim effectiveness while placing much less energy during this first leg of triathlon, Keith proceeded to win a number of local and regional sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. Immediately after completing around one hundred triathlons, Keith offered the Ironman distance a try and ended Ironman Canada in a time of 9:32, which accredited him for the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.

In 2001, Keith created Xterra Wetsuits. The triathlon business was routinely escalating and Keith recognised a necessity for any USA based company. His prime focus was around the performance of swimming wetsuits and giving less emphasis on pricing approaches that a majority of foreign based competitors were having challenges with. This core objective inevitably showed clearly successful given that the Vector wetsuit collection was launched and consequently broke more swim records and earned more Ironman titles than any other wetsuit in triathlon history. In 2007, Keith produced a pair of business companions to help broaden the Xterra Wetsuits brand and products. Under this newly formed collaboration, the company keeps growing and is now the top triathlon wetsuit brand in the United States and Canada. The dynamics and individual tasks that each companion brings to the table has been an invaluable asset to the company.

Before creating Xteraa Wetsuits, Keith was the owner and President of Ironman Wetsuits, North America. This supply company instantly increased to the main market share situation in the United States within just three years after Keith’s acquisition. Keith first set out his triathlon career by starting a small chain of triathlon stores on the East Coast which does business as Inside/Out Sports. Inside/Out Sports is one of the earliest triathlon outlets in the United States.
