Human health is extremely complex, and it isessential to understand how these components influence one another in order to provide employees with a comprehensive wellness program. That means theres something odd or special about it. Supporting mental health first aid in the workplace has never been more important.

Employees need, and increasingly demand, resources to help them cope with mental health problems. Moreover, while somebenefits may have been for senior levels only, employers should expand health and wellbeing benefits to the wider workforce. When an employee is suffering, so does their work. You might not be talking about it, because mental health in the workplace is still a taboo subject.

Frontline workers face the daily trauma of putting their health at risk, teachers and parents are navigating distance learning, and office workers struggle to either adapt to long-term remote work or anxiously debate whether they are comfortable with a return to the office. Try to make physical activity that you enjoy a part of your day. This means that we pledge to work against individual racism, interpersonal racism, and institutional racism in all their forms. The topic of managing and supporting mental health at work can be a difficult one to bring up.

Unfortunately, many Black Americans dont have access to these same types of resources. Company-paid doctors are often less expensive than fee-for-service arrangements or care provided in settings with large facility charges.
