About Beny And Little Prince

The story begins with my daughter. She is Beny with five years old.

She had to passively accept the toys we bought whether she likes them or not. After that, she went all over the corner to touch everything when she learned to walk.

Benny is growing and studying in kindergarten now. She always holds out her hands and asks to buy what she wants, such as a barbie doll, paper and colored pens. She draws and paints colors on paper then tells us this is her favorite sunflower, beauty and tiger. Although the painting is not very similar, this is the colorful world she knows.

She asks me a lot of questions every day, although these are strange and boring in the adult world, such as:

Dad, is the tiger happy?

Dad, will the sun and moon find us?

Dad, does sunflower have eyes?

There are so many Why in the world of children.

I often tell her fairy tales before she goes to bed. She likes to read “Little Prince” written by the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The story is about a pilot forced to land in the Sahara desert then met the little prince. The little prince came to many planets and saw many adults after he quarreled with his rose. Finally, he found a rose garden. The little fox told the little prince that there are thousands of roses here. They are beautiful but lonely. Only your rose is unique.

Little Fox said:“Go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is unique in all the world. It is time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important”.
