Exercise Theraband: Home Workout With Theraband

After all that free time in our homes and eating so much food at the time of corona it is time to consider exercise theraband and get fit. It does not matter whether you want to lose weight or maintain your physique; theraband is one of the best pieces of equipment for a home workout. If you have any physical and mental problems, practical theraband training may be beneficial for you.

The warmup

It does not matter whether you are working out at home, gym, or a playground. Try to warm up with pushups, pullups, and regular stretching. High knees, but kicks and karaoke running can pump your blood at the highest level possible. If you are planning to train legs for the day, the lunges might be a good suggestion.

The workout

The most positive point of this workout is you have to work for twenty minutes only. Also, a resistance band fits accurately in your pocket, which means you can take your workout gear wherever you want.

First exercise

Upright X Row is your first exercise that targets delts, traps biceps, and rhomboids. 

  • Stand in the center loops of the theraband.

  • Grab one side of the band and make an X in front of you.

  • Keep your knee bent and raise your hands towards your face. 

  • Make sure that your hands stay close to your body.

  • Keep repeating this process.

Second exercise

Squat and twist are your second exercise. This routine targets your whole body.

  • Again stand or place your feet in the center ring of the exercise theraband.

  • Move out to your right and try to squat down, and move your arms away from the chest.

  • Come back and try to repeat the same procedure at least twelve times and four sets.

Third exercise

The famous god morning is your third exercise; it targets the glutes, core, and lower back.

  • Again go back to the center loop position and hold the end loop in every hand.

  • Stand, making the width of your shoulder and bending your knees.

  • Go down while pushing your glutes back and keeping the back straight. Good morning is one of the practical theraband back exercises.


Note: You can try other exercises like pressing fast feet, tricep extension, Russian squat, and biceps curl while using exercise theraband.
