5454 aluminum involves four states such as O, T4, T6, and T651. It has good tensile strength, yield strength and shear strength. It has good welding performance. It can be gas welding, arc welding, contact spot welding and wire welding. Excellent brazing performance. It has strong corrosion resistance and no stress corrosion cracking tendency. In the manufacturing process, Cu is added to improve the plasticity of the alloy during hot working and at the same time increase the heat treatment strengthening effect.

The aluminum plate used for 1060 bus has good electrical and thermal conductivity and high corrosion resistance. It is relatively easy to weld, gas welding, hydrogen atom welding and contact welding can be used, but brazing is not easy. 1060 aluminum plate has good extensibility and tensile strength, which can be satisfied by stretching and stamping in conventional production.
