More than 15 lakh candidates registered for NEET 2020 of which about 85-90% appeared for the examination. This is for the 90,000 medical/dental seats for the undergraduate courses. The NEET 2020 cut-off scores were 720-147 in the unreserved category. Few students score good marks and for them, studying MBBS abroad is a welcome option. Eligibility for Indian Students to Study Abroad

The criteria to Study MBBS Abroad vary for each country and university. For Indian students, the general conditions are:
1. The student must have completed 17 years of age on December 31st of the year in which he or she sends the application form.
2. He or she must have completed the 10+2 examination from a recognized Indian board.
3. English is a compulsory subject and the candidate must have 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
4. For SC/ST/OBC students, the average in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry must be at least 40%. English is a compulsory subject.
5. The candidate must have the qualifying marks in NEET.

China has 45 or so medical institutions and ranks among the top choices for Indian students. It costs you 20-35 lakh INR for the entire MBBS course.

Pick the Right University

The next is the Philippines. The MBBS in Philippines 2021 course fees are 25% less than those in India. There are 40 accredited schools. After finishing their undergraduate course, the candidates have to pass the Physician Licensure Examination to start their practice of medicine. To get admission, you will also need a National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) score. The fee for the entire course is between 25 and 40 lakh INR.
