Welcome to red beard and the din of tools howdy ho guys again, as I'm read, your friendly neighborhood tool bear welcome back to the dinna tools and today have we got something for you. We'Ve got the last item, the last of the Fab five, that is, the Hercules circ saws in the house. Yeah we're doing a nice little review here kind of a quick review of all the features and ain't gon na. Let you see it cut a little bit and you guys you guys can let me know what you think of this saw. I got ta say first, impressions just pulling out of the box was WOW, you know just like the recipient or there's nothing cheap about it. It has all the bells and features that you would want on a saw like this. There may be some on your little wish list that maybe it doesn't tick, but as far as like hitting all the main points, it certainly does do that. It really did feel good in the pot. It'S got a good angle on it. I really like it. One of the best things that I really like about this saw versus other saws in this class is that it is a a left cut saw. That is that is when you're holding it if you're right pod like I am that you're looking directly at the blade you're not having to look over your hands kind of you know creaming over to us to see what you're actually cutting it's right there right in Front of your face so great feel I like the angle, the the weight and the balance on it is great honestly. I had high hopes for this saw and I think it met about 97 % of them the base plate on this is awesome. It'S not just a cheap piece of stamped metal or anything. Everything about this saw looks like it was designed from the ground up to be a quality piece, but enough about me, John here, let's get in to do some cutting with it. Shall we alright, but real quick? I want to go over some of the specs of the saw. First of all, it's got a 5000 rpm motor with soft start. That'S got all metal gears on the inside. Of course, you know they talk about compact design and all that stuff. The shoe on is light a light weight, aluminum shoe, which I actually really prefer. The LED on this thing, which is something I hadn't talked about, is a maze. I know I've complained on the other tools on this one they really made up for it. Let'S see here the integrated rafter hook here, it's you know nice easy. It'S got detents flips out locks in place, flip it back easy to use but, as I said, it stays where it state we're supposed to stay. One of the issues that was kind of funny is that, right before they started to ship it, they had to add an integrated dust port, so you can either put it on or take it off, I'm going to show it to you later. I never use them now here. As far as you know, changing the angle of it simple easy to use little twist, knob they're easy to read. I probably would have preferred contrasting colors rather than numbers on metal and a lot of people use that, but I prefer the high contrast: here's that exhaust port there's a screw that holds it in place, but you know I don't use it all right going loud, [, Music ] now that was all done with this smaller battery, the 2.5. That'S not the recommended battery for the saw you should be using the 5.0 that I have on here now. I did that because I wanted to show worst-case performance. I see all these tests done with the super high output, high amp power batteries, and I feel that leaves or gives you an unrealistic expectation, [, Music, ] and there with that five amp hour battery on there, you can really see the kind of performance you can Expect from a song like this, that's the way it's supposed to cut just to show you it's a good clean cut, [, Music, ], [, Music, ], [, Music, ], [, Music ], and this is just a piece of old lumber that I had lying around and Remember, that's an actual science 2.5 inches, so cutting a 4x4 and two passes is a no brainer with this all right. Well, there you go. What did you guys guys think I have to say I was really impressed with how smoothly this thing cut and a lot of that really has to go to the blade. The saw blades that they've come out for the this Hercules line of sauce is just really phenomenal. It'S right up there with Diablo and Irwin. It'S you know, Diablo for a long time, for me was my go-to? U blade you know, I know a lot of people. Consider Diablo to be the the facto blade, but for a long time I've commented that her win' was also you know right there right at the same kind of class. In fact, basically, I would buy either the Diablo or the Erwin based on which everyone was on sale. That week and honestly, I I couldn't tell the difference in the cut they're that good and the Hercules man it's right there. It cuts just as smooth just as fast, and you got ta really look at the blade they're the laser-cut tuning. There felixfurniture.com/best-spindle-sander-oscillator/ got three different styles of relief cuts to make this a smooth cutting blade, and it really does trust the bear on this one. You try these blades and you will not find fault with them anyway. The Hercules on here is, you know it's the final block in the the base, five tools that every DIY, ER or pro really needs. You know now we have from from Hercules. We'Ve got the hammer drill, the drill driver, the impact the recipient, the circ saw, I could finally say or once and for all finally say that yeah. This is a full line of 20 volt tools and yeah. I at this point i do recommend investing in them before I've held back saying, yeah they're great tools, but it's hard for me to say that you should invest in it, because there was really only those three tools. But at this point we're starting to see these new ones who's to say what's coming next, I know they've got a lot of quartered stuff, that's come out recently and they got more quartered stuff coming. I can't really talk about it, but the fact the matter is as far as a 20 volt line. my review here is a great system and the batteries. I can't speak enough about the quality of the batteries. I really like this song, I'm gon na, be using this a lot. Circ saws are one of the songs. You know when I got started, I was a carpenter and having a good trim saw like this is an absolute necessity and I I think they they just really. You know, nailed it at every every aspect of the song. So I don't see how you could go wrong with it anyway there you go. That'S the Bears opinion on this on this new tool from Harbor Freight. Let me know what you think. Let me know what you think it did well, let me know if you think they missed anything better. Yet let me know what you think they should come out with next all right, that's all the bear has for you today. Don'T forget to give us a like and a subscribe, maybe a thumbs up ring the bell there and, as always, give up chomp on that like button. Alright, you all take care and, as always shine on you
