Vaporizer Power Source Review - The VapeCiga Uwell Caliburn Modular Juice System

There are many different types of battery e-cigs on the market. Some brands that have made a name for themselves in the community are Idol Smoker, Vape Cloud, and Uwell Alien E-Cig. They all have their own distinct features and benefits over others. Some are better than others when it comes to certain aspects and functions while others just seem to not work at all with consistent use.

The Uwell Alien is a newer product in the field of battery e-cigs. It replaces the standard glass tank of previous models with a metal and glass hybrid shell that houses two differently colored chambers that house a dual coil system. The dual coil system allows for the exact amount of nicotine to be infused into the system, giving off the cloud like flavor that is so popular. While this model offers an extremely high quality and flavor in each flavor, the Uwell Caliburn consumes much less vapor to achieve the same level of satisfaction.

One of the most common complaints that users express about the well is that it takes a very long time to heat up. This is caused by the heating element located in the bottom chamber of the vaporizer. The reason why it takes so long to heat up is because the heating element constantly has to catch up on the temperature of the room. This causes the heating element to shut down until it can catch up to the necessary temperature for your application. This is a huge issue, especially with larger units that use the included voltage for caliburn pods power.

The Uwell Caliburn does away with the heating element and incorporates a built in battery indicator. This is great because it helps you keep track of how long the device has been running. The LED screen shows the current temperature of the room as well as the time it has taken to heat up. You can also see the temperature of the battery in the pod. I like that there is a rubberized cap to cover the battery indicators.

One of the biggest problems I have had with Uwell vapors are that they would leak out onto my hands. The biggest culprit of course is my open coffee mug. The biggest problem was trying to get them to stop leaking before I felt comfortable using them. It's not something that I would recommend, but the price is really nice. You are getting a decent sized device for only around .

Another issue I have seen with Uwell caliburn are the little plastic pieces on the battery pods. At first I thought the pieces were going to keep the battery from getting to full charge. I couldn't believe that they would actually let the battery die out, but after a day of testing them I was happy to find that they were causing the battery to lose a bit of power. This is something you will have to come to terms with when using Uwell batteries. Because the tiny pieces are there to prevent the battery from losing too much power, you won't have as long of a battery life with these pieces.

The other issue I ran into with Uwell batteries is that the screen would get pretty cold when it was showing the remaining battery charge percentage. This isn't a big deal for me, but if you don't like a screen that is too chilly then you should probably look elsewhere. The reason I say this is because the Vapocity Nicotine Juice Coils aren't really designed to be vented at all. Because they aren't designed to be vented, I can only assume that the manufacturer meant for you to insert your finger into the middle of the coil and then turn it on to heat the coils up.

With the Uwell caliber I would suggest to avoid inserting your finger into the center of the coil. You should also leave the mod on overnight so it can heat up fully overnight. This is important because if the coils are not heated up to their maximum potential you will not get the full vaporizer wick inside the unit when you take your first hit. Instead you will get hot air blown right out to your throat. These coils do heat fast however, which means that you will get the best results from these coils if you leave your mod on overnight and keep turning the mod on for several hours while it heats up.
