Why is it Essential to Learn HTML If I Am Using a WYSIWYG Editor?

It is a good question and one that's frequently asked by newbies interested in building a website. Whenever a WYSIWYG editor will place all you want in the right order desired simply by holding down a click and dragging text and images to wherever you please, why would anyone want to bother learning how the HTML source code works. If the web site you plan on building is merely for fun and hobby purposes, then a WYSIWYG editor might be all you require. Alternatively if your desire is to produce a business website , you might not desire to be restricted in achieving the highest standards available. When code created with a WYSIWYG editor goes awry, that may happen, if you lack the data and ability to fix the problem the options available are less than attractive. Where can you turn for help? Imagine if your website suddenly became inoperative and unreachable on the Internet to everyone, and would remain so for days before problem was fixed; could you afford the loss of revenue and reputation? Yes, you could hire someone acquainted with coding to repair the issue at perhaps an hour or more, but that could prove costly if you have to do it more often than once or twice weekly. Even worse, if the error creating the issue was one simple ">" bracket misplaced in the code, can you really rather hire a person at one hour to type in one missing ">" bracket, or find and fix the problem yourself in seconds and pocket the amount of money. That situation would be much like calling a repair person to repair your TV only to be told the plug had somehow been knocked loose from the socket, and was simply plugged back in to obtain it working again, and being offered a service charge. I cannot think of any other thing more frustrating than my car breaking down and prying open the hood to look at the motor, staring down into the belly of the car knowing absolutely nothing about where you can even begin looking for the issue, even while feeling helpless and stupid and worse, knowing it will cost money to repair.
