Cabo San Lucas is a magical destination for any type of traveler, whether you are traveling with your family, as a couple or with friends.

Here are some useful tips you should know if you are considering a trip to Cabo San Lucas.

How safe is it to travel to Los Cabos?

The Los Cabos Department of Tourism has announced that travel to Cabo San Lucas is safer than ever, as the public and private sectors have made investments in improving infrastructure, safety, equipment and personnel. They have strengthened and united in efforts to ensure safety throughout the Los Cabos region.

Difference between Cabo San Lucas and Los Cabos
Cabo, Los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas...this Mexican municipality is known by several names. The name "Los Cabos" actually refers to the two towns that make up the municipality of Los Cabos. These two towns are Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Cabo San Lucas is mostly known as "Cabo" and San Jose del Cabo is generally known as "San Jose".

To get to San Jose just drive along the coast from Cabo, a ride that will take about 30 minutes. The romantic town of San Jose offers a different experience from the vibrant atmosphere of Cabo.

In San Jose you will find a deep-rooted colonial history, with charming cobblestone streets decorated with flags, flowers and beautiful buildings that will take you on a journey into the past. In San Jose you can visit numerous art galleries, museums and authentic Mexican restaurants that will delight you with dishes such as pozole and enchiladas.

Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos is located right between the two towns, nestled like a beautiful beachfront jewel. From the resort you can easily reach both towns; Cabo is 18 minutes away and San Jose is 21 minutes away.
