Electro-absorption Modulator Can Also Be Used To Limit Or Eliminate The Growth

An electro-absorption modulator, sometimes referred to as an ECM is a simple but highly effective device that is used in many medical applications. Electro-absorbent materials are used in many applications including the treatment of broken skin, warts and acne scars, and even wounds in children. The treatments using these materials work by creating an invisible barrier between the skin and the substances being treated. When this barrier is broken, the skin is exposed to light, which normally causes it to break out or become inflamed. This process creates a safe, harmless substance that is naturally absorbed by the body and leaves no trace of any unwanted side effects.

These types of modulators have a wide range of uses. They are most often used to treat acne and other skin blemishes. As treatment is being administered, the patient will be given a special gel or cream to apply to the affected area. It will then be covered with the damp, gel-like material and a special device such as an electro-absorption modulator will begin to work. Within minutes, the gel or cream will absorb the unwanted substances and leave them behind in a harmless form. An Electro-absorption modulator can also be used to limit or eliminate the growth of cancerous cells. Certain types of ECMs can actually stop the spread of the disease from one area of the body to another. This is effective in cases where chemotherapy has been used in order to kill cancerous cells. It is also used in conjunction with radiation therapy as a way to kill dead cancerous cells in those areas where radiation therapy has failed.
