Last Night Of The Proms 2021: How popular Battle Proms concert will be staged in Hatfield this summer

A famous proms concert is set to back to Hatfield this summer now that lockdown easing is space up the country again for live out of the home events.

A highlight of the Hertfordshire collective calendar, Engangement Proms promoters JSL Manufacturing should have celebrated their 20th summer at Hatfield last year.

Routine wise Battle Prommers will know that the garden party concerts series provide a spectacular and unforgettable night out but will probably be think about if things might look a little bit different this year.

We caught up with event administrator Adam Slough to search out how Battle Proms 2021 will look, with social distancing, a little capacity, and COVID-secure measures in place.

The leafy Queen Elizabeth Oak area means organisers have plenty of volume to expand their site to take in social distancing.

"We're lucky that our attractive and well-buyable outdoor environment means we can plan a safe, socially distant concert without agreeing to the magic of the combat dance that the audience knows and loves," Adam said.

"In middle of other things, last night of the proms we open the door to aircraft, access to social distancing concerts, free space for hand washing stations, all amenities and seating to ensure your party is at a consistent distance from other audiences."

"We've even created a system that reduces queues by enabling the proms our viewers to pre-order their shows and flags, and any faithful 'battle dance' will tell you you need equipment for the night at battle dance!"

"Last night of the proms we welcome the easing of the lockdown on May 10, we know that things can change and the safety of spectators, staff and volunteers is our top priority.

Event director Adam Slough added: "Last year we missed the great crowd and team at Hartfield House and we are delighted to be back.
