Why send flowers to your beloved Valentine's Day? This is why you send flowers on May 20th every year. For hundreds of years, lovers everywhere have been celebrating Valentine's Day, but Valentine's Day is not limited to February 14. On May 20th, 520, the homonym in Chinese is "I LOVE YOU". Anyway, where does this tradition begin, and why do we exchange Valentine's Day flowers and sweets? I did some searches and found some interesting stories that accompany this tradition. Some of these stories may be true, while others may just be the stories they deserve. This is a short version of the start of sending flowers on Valentine's Day.

Why is Saint Valentine so important?

About eight hundred years before the founding of Valentine's Day, a man named Claudius was in power in Rome. He thinks marriage is a bad thing, because marriage makes poor soldiers stand out. Therefore, he forbids marriage from his empire. Saint Valentine did not agree to this rule, so he would secretly marry the couple who came to him. St. Valentine was captured, beaten to death shortly thereafter, and then beheaded.

Lover's tradition

On February 14, a wooden love spoon was carved in Wales and presented as a gift. Hearts, keys and keyholes are favorite decorations on the spoon. Decoration means: "You released my heart!"

In the Middle Ages, young men and women took their names from a bowl to see who their lovers were. They wear these names on their sleeves for a week. Now, wearing your heart on your sleeve means that it is easy for others to know how you feel.

In some countries/regions, young women may receive clothing gifts from young men. If she keeps the gift, it means she will marry him.

Someone once thought that if a woman saw a robin flying over her head on Valentine's Day, it meant she would marry a sailor. If she saw a sparrow, she would marry a poor man and be happy. If she saw a goldfinch, she would marry a millionaire.

The seat of love is a wide chair. It was originally used to accommodate a woman and her wide skirt. Later, the love seat or courtship seat has two parts, usually S-shaped. In this way, a couple can sit together, but not too close!

Whatever it is, it is a myth. Valentine's Day has become a big business for flower, card and candy companies. It exists because of this day of the year. If you have a wife or girlfriend with a man and let Valentine's Day pass without getting her flowers or sweets, then you will be in great trouble. Therefore, please listen to my suggestions and make some effort. Carefully selected gifts and greeting cards will take you a long way; pluck it from a woman you know, but Valentine’s Day flowers are still your best choice. If you are lucky enough to meet someone who loves you on this day, then you should show him or what they mean to you. Those who send Valentine's Day flowers may be a big money machine for these companies, but angels and those people sometimes don't always show their relatives how much they care. Valentine’s Day flowers make it easier for everyone to prove their love and dedication to those who love them.

Today is May 20th. Do you send flowers to your wife or girlfriend?
