Romance eBook and hardcover sales of romance billionaire erotica eBooks, according to research by authoring Pantaloon, increased seventeen percent during the second half of fiscal year 2021 compared to the same period last year. In fact, romance eBook and hardcover sales of print media that included romance eBook sales increased almost seventeen percent during that period. Total romance book sales during that time frame were .9 million. While these numbers are impressive, one must remember that they represent only a small segment of the total book market and the growth is expected to continue at least until the end of fiscal year2019. The key to successful publishing of romance eBooks lies in finding readers for whom the romance eBook is a perfect fit for them and for whom the format of the eBook is a perfect fit for reading.

Sales of romance eBooks, as of late, have been slow, with downloads growing less than six percent per month on an annual basis. However, this slow growth is starting to change as eBook unit sales are increasing and eBook unit sales are flattening out. Over the last two months, eBook unit sales have increased by thirty percent year over year and the yearlong average is growing at a steady rate of six percent annually. This rapid increase in eBook unit sales, combined with continued high demand for romance eBooks, is providing a perfect opportunity for one of the largest online distributors of eBooks to leverage its market position in the growing global marketplace.

It has been a common practice for wholesalers to release multiple free titles each month to build momentum for their main bestselling titles. However, in early January, the company released two new books, "Source of Love" by Karen Russell and "How to Steal Everything You Don't Own" by Lisa Nichols. These two releases represent the largest single releases from the company, and both books are selling strongly. Ms. Russell's "Source of Love" has already sold more than three hundred thousand copies while Ms. Nichols' "How to Steal Everything You Don't Own" has sold nearly two hundred thousand copies.

One of the reasons that these two romance eBooks are doing so well is the fact that a large percentage of their audience is female. Over the past five years, there has been a steady decline in the percentage of female readers for fiction and non-fiction categories. However, the number of female readers for romance eBooks has consistently been increasing over the past twelve months. This increase is especially notable during the holiday season and as the New Year begins. According to figures provided by comptia Inc. researchers, the number of female readers for romance eBooks has grown at a rate of thirty percent annually, which is far faster than the national average.

Kindle Unlimited subscribers are also currently experiencing strong gains in their monthly subscription numbers. As previously stated, there are many readers that purchase these kinds of books solely for the convenience of being able to download them to an eReader device such as the Kindle Fire. Many readers purchase their favorite romance eBooks on the Kindle and then download them to their kindle Unlimited reader device so that they can read from any location that has a Wi-Fi connection.

In addition to the two top romance eBooks on the Amazon Best Sellers List, there are several other titles that have sold well this month. Two other eBooks that have sold well are "The Necromancer" by Nancy Holder and "Windmills and Men by Jackie Griffiths" by Beverly Barton. There are only eight original titles for the January books list. Most of the other books on this list were not really selling too well to begin with. But the fact that there were only eight books makes this a particularly great month to purchase a collection of romance eBooks, especially since there are still some other exciting titles to be released throughout the remainder of the year.
