EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques and Chiropractic

Posted by Lundgreen McCurdy on June 1st, 2021

I have noticed recently that several of my patients have not heard of EFT (aka the Emotional Freedom Techniques). Perhaps that they had seen the acronym on the side bar of my newsletter but never inquired further. Others are aware that my spouse Alina is just one of a few certified trainers of EFT on the planet with Dawson Church, director and EFT Universe, one of several three most primary certifying organizations. The rest of you might wonder what EFT and Chiropractic have to do with the other and just how could they come to be utilized in a mutually supportive way. www.mixcloud.com/bruusbarrera5/ figured who's concerned time that i can answer that question. As a chiropractor, I most commonly check out my patients' needs regarding how I can assist them in reducing pain and increasing their body's function. Chiropractic has always dedicated to removing nerve interference hence the body can better heal itself. That idea goes all the way up time for DD Palmer and chiropractic's inception. Coincidentally, I overheard Alina only the other day explaining EFT as an easy way of removing energy interference by the body processes that after present, lessen the body's ability to heal. Hmmm, how similar is? EFT can also be referred to as an emotional version of acupuncture, but without needles. read this article is wonderful as a self-help technique that can be learned and applied to your own, whereas chiropractic adjustments will never be self-administered. So one might ask why I would ever work with a technique which could lessen the need for my services? The simple answer is always that some physical issues I view as primarily mechanical, with a difficult or energetic component intertwined. Other patients present pain from stress, life patterns or behaviors that are primarily a result of past behaviors that no more serve them that should be witnessed and turned into something new. EFT is fabulous for achieving that. To provide you with an idea of when I use EFT, here are a few examples. Recently a patient arrived with the recent oncoming of migraines, which began equally as their husband started having panic and anxiety attacks. Another was suffering from stress and panic to the level how the he felt that his head would explode and the man had a potential long airplane trip and a coinciding anxiety about flying. Another came in with chronic back pain that he noted increased when he regarded anger associated with a recent marital separation. The intertwining relationship of physical ailments with emotional stresses are infinite. Too often patients informed that their symptoms were inside their head. This was not just a complimentary diagnosis, and basically meant that the symptoms were psychosomatic, or that this physician figured that this patient was "making all this up." Psyche (mind) and Soma (physical body) are needless to say related, how could they stop? The moment you've pain, you've got a contemplated it and after that often follows an emotion, which then causes neurotransmitters to be removed inside brain which then leading to hormones developing in to the bloodstream which then features a physiological affect on things like heartrate, hypertension, immune response, etc. So needless to say our physical condition and psyche journey together. So, how do I decide when you ought to put on my chiropractic hat so when do I slip on my EFT hat? There are no rules, just intuition. Sometimes, I utilize it when what I thought would guidance is not helping sufficiently. Sometimes I feel that there's something not being said and it's also a way for someone to express something essential that they did not feel was strongly related their presenting complaint. In More Help of the ways it presents, the use of EFT more often than not surprises me with its ease and it is effectiveness.
