Renewed Iphone XS Max From Amazon (Is It Any Good?)Posted by Lu Pilgaard on June 2nd, 2021 What'S going on youtube, i'm back again with another video today in this video, i'm going to be taking a look at the iphone xs max renewed from amazon.com. The reason why i picked up this phone is because a lot of people has been dming me and wondering how it is to get a renewed device from amazon. Well, if you don't know what amazon renewed is, you can go ahead and take a look at the description there, but pretty much i'll. Just read you the first sentence. It says amazon renewed as your trusted destination for a huge selection of smartphones, computers, video games, power tools and even more electronics that are guaranteed to work and look brand new, so pretty much. These are products that amazon take in and they factory refurbish them to make them like new condition and, like i said i did go ahead and pick up the xs max 64 gigabyte gold t-mobile edition now they do sell them unlocked. But for this version right here i paid 470 and that's after shipping and handling and taxes now the reason why i personally chose to go with an iphone in the first place and not another renewed item on there is because one is the most popular phone out. If you're going to be looking to upgrade your say, iphone 7 that i have here, which i do use as like my secondary phone, i have two phones, the galaxy s21 ultra and this iphone 7. I use the iphone as my primary phone and the galaxy s. 21 is like a multimedia device, so, let's just say, you're coming from something like this and you just want to upgrade and see what it was like. So that's what this main video is all about. So taking a look around the box, this is the box that you're going to receive from amazon, it's just a regular gray box or a regular brown box right here was my shipping label. I went ahead and tore that off, but let's go ahead and crack right into this. It looks like there's just some tape right there, that's holding it down and they just pretty much. Take it all around now, if you listen, it does sound like the phone is just moving around in there. So let's go ahead and take off this tape and see what we got inside. I did go ahead and pick up a case too. This is like a slim tpu case. It does have a kickstand with it as well paid about six bucks for this. I just want to include that in here all right, let's go ahead and take this and see what we got inside as it goes, and then it looks like this is just the regular box down here go ahead and take this out of its box. Oh well, i ripped it like i kind of figured i would here we go all right, so it looks like it's a box inside of a box. Here we go hold on and inside that box was just my packing slip, as you guys can see. The total came out to 475 iphone xs max t-mobile and it does say for some reason the condition is new and then it also says renewed there. So let's just go ahead and take a look and then it also says i got this little pamphlet. That says, thank you for choosing amazon reward. You can enter your reward and blah blah blah. If you want to do something like that, but here it's the actual phone. It just comes in this white box. Here i didn't think that it would come in its original box anyway. So let's go ahead and take this out of its box here and see what we are greeted with. Oh, it looks like the phone is right there, so there it is the phone itself. This is a nice gold color, let's go ahead and put this off to the side for a second and you just get a bunch of third-party accessories that i will not be using. This is a i've never heard of that brand before, but apparently it's for the iphone all right, whatever that's just a third party charger, and then this comes wrapped up in a bag. Now this has nothing to do with apple at all: htc htc, all right, yeah, not gon na - be using that yep all right. So here is the phone itself. It comes in this plastic bag. Here, let's go ahead and take more information out of the bag and take a look and see what condition this phone is on, go ahead and take it out of the bag and there you go. I mean i have my light there. You can bring it up. I don't see anything guys, there's some dust but yeah this at least the front of it looks really nice really nice, here's the side again, no nicks or nothing that i can see. There looks like to be some: oh one right there. If you guys can see it over here on the other side looks like it's nothing again the same removal slot. I will go ahead and get this phone set up and do like the charging and the 4g and just to make sure that everything works. You know the camera and everything but yeah there we go. Here'S gold, color, i don't know. I thought this gold was gon na pop more that almost looks like white to me. Let'S see if it has any juice, it does so i'm going to go ahead and throw my information in here and i'll be right back all right guys. So i went ahead and threw all of my information in here and upon setting it up and just like downloading all my apps and stuff guys nothing's wrong with it. It'S a perfectly good phone, it's not in new condition, because there are a couple of micro scratches on the screen, but you can't even see them like if you're looking like, really really extremely close. Maybe you could see them, but um do the face id but face id works. Eye messages work. The wireless charging works um, as you guys can see here. If we bring it down the led flash that works - and there was another thing i want to look at - was battery health. This phone is at 93 battery health, which guys that is amazing. Let me go ahead and bring my iphone 7 in here. Just for comparison sakes, my iphone 7, i believe, is on maybe even a lower battery life than this one. Oh, my iphone 7 is on 96., so this one's on 93. iphone 7's on 96., this one's older. So i don't know how this battery has stayed good. So long - and i have not replaced it since i had this phone but yeah, but guys if you guys, are thinking about getting a renewed device off amazon, i would definitely 100 percent recommend it. It is a lot cheaper than going through apple. I know this phone on apple is probably still like 700 and that's even the refurbished price, but if you guys are looking to look at amazon renewed, i would definitely look into it guys. I have no complaints about this. It was as described. The shipping was fast. It was a cheap and um.
