Consciousness as comprehensive and complex because ours is capable to form realities beyond the in-born nature of creatures. Consider the actuality experienced by the tribes of wolves throughout the wintry sand hills of snow in addition to freezing northern winters. In a realm that is more dictated by the conditions with the surroundings rather than exactly how it is designed together with the abilities to think. Not changing in degree in which the planning skills have been advanced. Lacking typically the accumulation of known history that in the case regarding humans fills typically the mental landscapes since representational portraits. Their particular lives are nevertheless moving from 1 hunting ground to be able to another and understanding through imitation much better hunting strategies. Along with the life expectancy as high as twelve years of struggling living for survival, they wander with no benefits of the development to more intricate forms of getting through consciousness. Exactly why? It was knowledge that shaped the antique pharaoh to become a pharaoh. It is knowledge that shapes the educated business man who is about to learn from experience that what is to be a leader of a business enterprise. Without knowledge organizing its foundations from, the sentience of wolves is limited solely to the bidirectional development witnessed in evolution. They cannot guide the trajectories of their cultural reality by creating knowledge that can prevent global disasters. They cannot create means to alter the trajectories of asteroids that could end the history of life on Earth. They cannot create cultural events like the 20th century French surrealist movement that would paint our history with intriguing imagery. Yet wolves have personalities, intelligence, emotional life, and an individual "I". In essence, a soul, as we cannot duplicate the individual "I" with cloning, even though we can clone identical genetic structures. To produce the causal event of conducting individual's "I" into existence is still beyond the range of our capabilities. IN PLANET ZABOR , the battlefield of the survival of the species , the inexorable evolution, has crowned a winner: The Zaborians. Humanoids are called “krrunchos”; an inferior, eatable species that never adapted to the pinkish light of the planet´s two suns. Planet Zabor is a theocracy ruled by Holy Judges who enforce the law according to the commandments of the Zaborian God. Zaborians believe they have a natural right to use other species at their behalf. That´s a privilege of being on top of the food chain of evolution. Of course not all Zaborians are deep devotes of the official beliefs - just as in our planet. Imagine the "SUPERIORS," beings with capabilities we only can dream of. The Superiors are gigantic and move through interstellar space as if it were nothing. Let us imagine that the Superiors discovered us, the humans. It would not be a surprise if the Superiors saw us as instinctive beings almost identical to each other, as beings that understand the world from a kind of simple, shared self. The Superiors do not ask themselves ethical questions when using us in ways most useful to them... like guinea pigs, food, clothing, entertainment, etc. But, here on our small planet Earth, we know that it is from an "I" distinct to everyone and everything, that each human interacts with the world. A sunny or a rainy day is a unique experience for each one of us. Science says that, like all animals, humans are the result of a development from elementary forms of life. It is then not illogical to conclude, that the sense of "I" in a stream of consciousness already existed in those elemental organisms from which it gradually developed - and it did not appear suddenly or by chance in humans. Thus, each living entity senses its own form of "I". To be alive is to be unique. Without that individuality of being alive, there would be no drive to survive and reproduce. We, humans, tend to behave like the Superiors.
