Kaiser Aluminum Announces Director Resignation

    FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., May 1, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (Nasdaq:KALU) today announced that Georganne C. Proctor resigned as a member of its Board of Directors effective April 27, 2009 due to the demands of her position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at TIAA-CREF. In her resignation letter, Ms. Proctor noted her full support of Kaiser Aluminum and its management team. 、
