Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel, it's antoinette from simple ehe in this video. I am sharing with you guys some trash to treasure the iy ideas that you could craft using some recycled materials like bottles, cans, jars, boxes, cardboard or even fabric from old clothes, and these projects will be perfect to do with our kids. Especially now. Do your in quarantine and social distancing times to keep them and ourselves occupied and creative? I hope you will find these ideas helpful and I hope you will subscribe and share this video. It helps my channel out and let's get started so, as you can see, I will be using these recycled items that usually get thrown away to create some beautiful home decor items. So I am gon na go ahead, remove all the labels and clean them up and for the first DIY I will use this clementines box. I love the size of it and how it has some clips on it. So I'm gon na paint it with this white chalk, paint that I got from Home Depot feel free to use whatever color you have on hand or whatever color you like, and once it's dry. I will use this acrylic Burnett color from dollar store and I'm gon na use the dry brush method to give it that distressing. Look then I glue some floral forms inside the box like this, then I use some of these hydrangeas that I had around the house. Again, you could use any greenery or picks or flowers that you have around the house and I'm gon na go ahead, play around, arrange them on this box until I like it also, I wanted to add this Blessing sign that was from Dollar Tree and I'm gon Na glue it here on this side, [, Music, ] - and I think this arrangement came out super cute. You can place it in any space of your home and you can leave it all year. Long [, Music, ], [, Music, ] next project is really simple. I am using this eggs container, I'm just gon na go ahead and paint the back of it with this same white chalk paint, but as soon I start painting, I notice it would have been better to just pre painted, but we learn as we go once it's Dry, you can use it as an organizer for your nail polishes or your accessories. [ Music, ], [, Music, ]. Next DIY. click to investigate saved these paper towel and paper toilet rolls. I am gon na go ahead and press on them like this, and I will cut them roughly about a quarter of inch and when I am done cutting them, I will take them outside in the garage to spray-paint them. With this rest, Oh Liam, black spray paint. I wish I spray-painted the rules before cutting them. It would have been easier to cover well the entire roll. So if you try doing this, I definitely encourage you to spray-paint them before you cut them now that they are dry. I have this round mirror that I got from Dollar Tree long time ago and I will add some hot glue to the end of each loop and glue it on the frame of this mirror. And when I finished the first round that I will go ahead and make another line, but this time I am gluing each loop in between two loops from the first line, and I will continue doing that until I finish the second line as well feel free to Add third line or fourth line, depending on how big you want this mirror to be [: Music ]. I absolutely love how pretty mine turned out. Let me know in the comment section: what do you think [ Music, ], [, Music, ] last project? I think you are going to love it. It'S this orange juice bottle that I will paint it in the same white chalk paint, and I will give it two coats and when it's dry I am gon na use some dry brush method to give it that aged. Look [ Music ]. Then I will insert some floral pics that I have around the house, I'm just gon na bend. The stems like this to make it fit perfectly in the bottle: [ Music ]. Then I decided to wrap some twine around the neck of this bottle like this and done. I think it turned out really chic and pretty [ Music ] [, Music ]. I hope you enjoyed watching my up recycling, these recycled items and turning them from trash to treasure.
