Tool battery keep up and maintanance

My wife told me: sometimes she stares out this window and looks at me and just laughs at me talking to a camera, but in today's episode we are going to be talking about batteries. I own a couple of drones and that's what I do on the side. I'M a contracted drone pilot, those who are run on lithium ion batteries as well the difference between this type of lithium ion battery and the one in a drone. It is the batteries I get our smart batteries. They actually will not operate the drone unless, if conditions are to a certain certain liking for the drone now, like I said, a lithium ion battery is a lithium ion battery. If you don't maintain your batteries, they will not. Last long at all, I doing simple maintenance on them, which it's not hard. You don't have to take anything apart. You don't have to do any mechanical maintenance. It'S just a simple process to help maintain your batteries. Now there's my current model. Drone that I have is phantom 4 DJI phantom 4 drone those batteries at the time when I bought it is two hundred and eighty dollars battery, and - and so yes, by spending that much on a single battery, you want to maintain that battery because it's expensive to Replace it so that got me trained is that all batteries for my all, drones were expensive, and so that got me trained on that properly maintain the lithium ion batteries. This is an investment you need to maintain it perfect, [, Music, ], all right now. What I ordered here, it's all good to freakin, see this stuff come in the mail. You know it's true to 6f. Our batteries awesome! Oh look at that. That is gorgeous. That is gorgeous score. All right! You right now are about to see my bad obsession and I will admit I went way way over the top on this [ Music ] all right and I got one more six amp hour battery coming in the mail. This is sad. I will never need this of these amount of batteries at once or even throughout the day, never by the way, this doesn't matter if it's right, OB to Walt Milwaukee batteries, lithium ion batteries as lithium ion batteries, if you're on the job site - and you have an X amount of batteries with you and you're using them and you need them. That'S that's perfect. Bring your batteries inside! You can leave your tools in your car, that's fine or your truck or whatever bring the batteries inside, because then they get a relief from the stress of being in freezing cold weather. Don'T drop them, don't put chemicals on them and keep them clean if sawdust gets on there, that sawdust is gon na break down that metal and scratch the hell out of it, and you won't even see it and that will ruin the good connection that it has Between the tool and the battery, and so then that's when your you had your battery malfunctions, keep those keep those prongs clean as well, because the cleaner those are the better connection that the tool has the battery the better the battery will perform an end of story. The next thing is cycling: your batteries, don't let those batteries just sit fully charged get something that is is not expensive and something that does not require you to be there for it all the time all right, like example. Now, if you cycle the battery with an impact driver, you're gon na, have to sit like this for a long time the battery dies. Now, who wants to do that? Nobody you're gon na wear out the motor in here you're the battery's gon na overheat, because you're just using a high-powered tool. That'S gon na suck this dry and it's gon na take a while, but it'll suck it dry, and you have to sit here with that. felix furniture , so what you should do is get something that could easily cycle your batteries, and one thing that I got is the fan: I'm rarely gon na use this 9 amp hour battery. This is only for a few things that I that I would use. I use this in the fan sometimes so then. What I do is just to turn the fan on, because it's a low power fan, you know it I mean it blows really good, like was really good, but it does not require. You give run this fan on 1.5 amp hour battery for a few hours 2 or 3 hours. Maybe I do not know. I am NOT gon na test that but put this on low to have that run running in your house and as soon as that's as soon as that's dead charge it back up and while it's charging use, it used a different battery by doing that, you're cycling. Your batteries you're not letting the batteries just sit there fully charged, because that will also break down your the cells. My phantom floor pro, you have to cycle the battery once every battery once every three months. If you do not use it, when you use it, you have to cycle the battery every tenth charge, protect your investment because I honestly do not want to ever buy, replace batteries left and right to recycle the batteries, get a fan boom done and put that on Charge and that battery is good for about a month. You don't need to worry about that battery again, but then like, but if you continuously do that, then your cells would be good, and this is a this is for years. This isn't for just the winter or the summer. This will, if you do this for years, these batteries will stay maintained and still run brand-new. Don'T abuse the batteries subscription prize right there? If you follow those simple instructions, you're good to go. This is David, Nicholas I'll, see you later [ Music, ]
